paid for random infection, but it's not showing up

I paid for a random infection. Everything was fine until I went to the wardrobe to change my outfit and now it's not showing up at all. A trip to the infection center shows I'm not even infected! Do I need to file a ticket or is it a glitch?
I'm having a similar issue. Paid for the random new virus without the wait (25,000 sP) and have had it disappear twice. I show up as infected on the forums for a few minutes, and then it goes away. When I return to the Voluntary Infection Program main page, the option is there once again to get an infection without the wait time.
I paid for an instant new infection and it showed up but then disappeared, I think after getting kissed. I thought it was just a HA thing, but the forums say no biting instead of infected, and other people have said they've had to get re-infected and I don't want that, I want my original infection back!!!

Looks like it's happening with any infection. I bit for freckle fever until infection, but it disappeared.

Yeah, it seems like kisses are canceling out infections for some reason.
One of the staff commented in the news post that it was to do with Kisses, and that they're working on it. But it means we'll have to get re-infected again, and I might end up with something different =(

We've just pushed a temp fix for the infections glitch. It will take ~20 min for it to update around the site.
The issue was that getting kissed would overwrite your infection with the kissing hex. The temp fix was to disable the kissing hex, so... that is going to be disabled for a bit while we work on a proper solution.
Please file a ticket if you lost sP to this glitch, to get it reimbursed. I recommend waiting ~20 min (so until about 7:50 subeta time) before purchasing a new infection so that you don't lose it again before the site fully updates with the fix.
[edit] Or 8 pm to be safe, as all of our servers need to individually refresh with the update.
