Birthday Cake Icon weirdness

I just noticed this while visiting the General Discussion forums, there seems to be another weird issue with the birthday cake icon.
has the birthday cake icon next to the username in the forum post sidebar thing (example: Useful General Discussion Threads), but in the forum posts themselves and on the General Discussion main page, it just shows an enlarged purple icon instead of the cake.

I don't think this has been happening with other users, so it could just be some weird error because of the special moderator icon.
I will look into this, it's some weird sCode glitch. I think it's supposed to be showing the birthday cake icon and it's just picking the wrong image (but resizing it like it would the bday cake)

I noticed it too with Gryffindors the other day so I definitely think its a mod issue.

@ bug is it a "known" bug about the huge delay for cakes, too? i know we run on 5 minute cache but i mean, people from yesterday still show a cake and mine isn't up and it's a quarter passed midnight baha!! notice it's been happening to many people i know for a few weeks now :O ❤️
[edit] wait it's showing in forums, so i guess it has something to do with "where", ie.: left side widget (under HA) and Friends online (self) etc!
If it's showing up on forums it should show up everywhere, I mean the user hover uses the same code everywhere :/

it's just acting weird then :( i still see with their yesterday cake in friends list, mine on forum, and not mine on other places mentionned above haha!! it's all like jtfdrydiyfoduditf XD
Yeah I know that widgets cache their content for a while. If there's places other than widgets where it seems cached too long lemme know.

oh ok so yep delay there confirmed!
and i guess the only other weird thing is the one about bday being over but still showing as of 00:27 in forum, friends list from top menu etc. (re ie.: )

Mine should've been gone after the roll over, but it's showing up on the dashboard.

Yes but that's cuz the sCode itself still has it cached. I meant places where the sCode is caught up but it's showing the wrong version.
I don't think there is a simple way to just uncache the sCode when it's somebody's birthday. We might be able to add some sort of cron to the cache, I can look into it

The original issue has been fixed. (That is, the issue with the large minimod icon instead of the birthday cake)
I will look into the caching thing but that's sort of a separate issue.
[edit] We've decided the caching thing is minor enough that it's not worth fixing. Different forum posts are cached in different ways, but the cache should finish renewing across all of them within 25 minutes. I'm closing this thread since the primary issue was fixed.
