Just wanted to say congrats! Where are you travelling to?

I don't travel for work, but my husband does. He had a time where it was just him and one other guy, but he's never gone solo before. He doesn't travel too much for work, maybe a few times a year for 1-3 weeks at a time?

Though, I have had a time where I had to fly solo. At the time, I hadn't flown since I was 7 so I was nervous about having to do it completely by myself. We were engaged at the time, but he was in CA for work. He was allowed to either fly home for the weekend or have someone fly out to him for the weekend, and since his company covered flight expenses, I figured why not?? But he was there to pick me up from the airport and drop me back off.

I don't really have any useful tips because I wasn't completely by myself once I got to the destination. We just relied heavily on the GPS whenever we wanted to go somewhere!

I've flown down to South Carolina by myself twice (and up twice, obviously) and I was this weird combination of nervous and excited. The last time I flew into BWI before a severe thunderstorm and that was an adventure but that was back in August so I highly doubt your trip will be as eventful as mine.

Just get headphones, some gum (because your ears will pop and it's annoying af) and some music you thoroughly enjoy.
