I just joined yesterday. How has Subeta remained hidden from me until now? This site is amazing. I play on a couple other pet sites, and actually heard about this one on Rescreatu. I am also on Chicken Smoothie, Sylestia, and Marapets. Obviously none of them too hardcore, for one reason or another. But I am very excited about Subeta! It's like this site figured out some of the things that bugged me about other sites and fixed it. Plus the artwork here is beautiful <3 I think my only complaint is navigation; but at the same time, it's really forcing me to explore. Which I like? So maybe it's good that it isn't easier, lol.

I do like the beginner's walk through, that was VERY helpful. Any advice from old timers on how to do well here is very welcomed!

German? No, no- I was just being silly. I'm American. But I can see why you'd think that. Normally I get mistaken for Canadian. Though once, in Los Angeles, someone asked me if I was Russian, and I said no, I'm from New England. And then they gave me a knowing nod, a big smile, and said, "Ah, you're British!" and then walked off. True story, I swear it.

I do not speak German. I wish I could. I like how very specific it is. But whoever sent me the lovely welcome gift ( was it you, ? it said it was from anonymous) with the welcome note in German, that was very sweet and thoughtful! Thank you!

I can say you are doing good judging by the nice avatar :) Navigation was a problem for me too when I joined, made me not want to play tbh, but we get used to it You can use this little button, found in the top right corner of the layout, to bookmark important pages, if that helps at all ^-^

That is a very helpful tip- I didn't even see that tab up there! I will be using it for sure. I'm glad it's not just me that has had a little trouble. I know it will get the hang of it soon enough. It looks like you're settling in well. 😊 There are a lot of things around Subeta, so it's definitely best to explore and familiarize yourself with everything. I second 's advice about the + tab to bookmark important pages and pages you often visit; it's super handy! (I have a couple bookmarks for pages that I check out every day.)

Thank you! I keep discovering new things, and I love that it seems like its really easy to do well here! I wish I'd been a little more patient with adopting pets, keeping everyone well fed is a full time job, lol. But I am enjoying it here. There's so much to do!

One thing I am not quite sure about is the pet treasure chests. What are those for?

I need to read through the FAQ. I keep trying and then getting distracted by something or other on it. There's just so much to see and learn and do! Customizing the dashboard is a miracle. SubetaLodge looks like it will be super helpful.

I really like the Zombies- er, I mean, Undead, in February. It seems like a refreshing break from the sticky sweet romance that everything else tries to dump on you in February. And its kinda cool, the whole civil rights thing woven in. What do we want? Equal Rights! When do we want it? Brains!

Maybe someday? I've been in the Survival boards, and I don't think I could compete, some of those avatars are amaaaazing. But I might try, it could be kinda fun to go and compete, if only to look at everyone elses' HA's. Like yours. Oh my gosh the gradient... so pretty.
