fashion or anti-fashion, what are y'all wearing today?

fav outfit you wear/have worn? do people ever make fun of you for what you wear? do you have a job with a dress code?

today i'm wearing -goldenrod cropped hoodie -black running leggings with weird futuristic looking gray detail -gold wire frame prescription ray ban glasses -barefoot because i'm staying home today

(omg sorry I rambled!) My dress code is business casual, but you better believe I'll be changing into a t-shirt and jeans when I get home. But for now, I'm wearing: -a green and white knit cardigan which nearly goes down to my knees. -tan tank top -light gray trousers -black boots (only to my ankles) -opal necklace -my staple jewelry, which includes: wedding ring, silver Fossil watch, silver heart bracelet (it was the first gift my husband gave me for my birthday when we started dating)

I have weird quirks when it comes to attire though. I don't really care for tan or light-colored pants but I tolerate them (like today). I also don't like to wear a shirt and pants together if they're too close in color and shade. For example, I was wearing a dark blue top and a darker pair of blue jeans the other day, but I immediately changed to one of my other pairs of jeans to break it up a bit. My only exception is wearing black-on-black, but I rarely do that.

A lot of people think I'm crazy for this, but I lounge around the house in blue jeans. I don't own a single pair of leggings and I don't care for sweat pants. What's funny is that I do wear shorts in the summer, but I prefer athletic shorts over denim (I think partially cause it's hot and athletic shorts feel cooler than denim sticking to me??)

I need to do a purge of my closet because I don't wear a lot of my tops now. But one I really like is a top that typically isn't my style. It's a cold-shoulder top with a floral design (pink and white flowers on a navy blue shirt). The sleeves are about 3/4 length, has spaghetti straps, and is really lightweight and breezy so it feels nice during the spring and summer, even when the weather gets to like 90 degrees.

outside yesterday since it's 20 minutes or so past 2 am currently, ( 6 layers of clothing..it was freezing outside and i had a night class)- it was somewhere around 23 fahrenheit last night.

as for what I was wearing during class, purple knit hat, had grey mittens as well though I didn't really wear them that much. My hands surprisingly weren't that cold.

layer wise for top:

2 thermal underwear tops 1 regular long sleeve red and blue champion top. grey turtleneck sweater( no jewelry since I usually don't wear earrings as much in winter). heavy winter coat.

bottom: thermal leggings ( heat tech) jeans over that. Brown UGG boots.

at the moment pajamas( so uh... a teal victorias secret night shirt and a blue plaid onesie since it's cold in my room currently.

As for fashion sense... I don't really have what's considered a good fashion sense in general or much of a fashion sense in general at all. In the winter I dress more for practicality( i.e. I'm not freezing) more than I dress for fashion more or less.

It basically just means I have a ton of black and grey, but I dress that way even when it's not winter so... XD

I'm a similar way with too similar colors, unless i'm doing it to be a jackass like wearing as many yellow clothes as i can, but that's usually intentionally bad looking. I CANNOT LOUNGE IN JEANS, OH MY GOD. or socks, even though I live in the super cold midwest, i have to wear leggings or shorts and slippers.

i am OBSESSED with turtlenecks. i literally have to consciously stop myself from buying more turtlenecks (especially black ones) when i go out. my coworkers were initially like "how many turtlenecks do you even own???" but now i think they're used to it. and i feel your pain!! i live in chicago so the winters are sometimes excruciating ughh

Ahaha I like to wear socks around the house! I used to only rock barefeet but maaaybe it's because I've got cool socks now? (Like Marvel, DC, Nintendo, Pokemon etc).

I don't have any tops that would look good with leggings is my problem. Hardly any of my shirts are long enough. Though truthfully I'd looove to own a galaxy-print pair. (I'm obsessed with galaxy styles and the colors). But again, I'd need a top that would look right with them.

I generally only wear high waisted things, including my leggings, so basically everything works with them. i wear a lot of just like hoodies or t-shirts or cropped comfy things around the house and i own a lot of black so if i wear a color it isn't an eyesore (today i'm wearing all black tho)

Black sweatpants and a baggy gray hoodie. :X I do dress up a bit some days, but I haven't felt like it recently. And by "dress up" I mean wear jeans and a nice shirt/sweater. I don't do fashion, lol

Black yoga-type pants, my oldest (and favorite) Beatles t-shirt, and a navy blue very thin cotton long sleeve top that's full of holes. AND my black frame glasses, and slipper socks (turquoise with a white kitty face on the top of each foot and the kitties are wearing glasses that look exactly like mine).

I live in New York City at the moment and it's been weirdly fluctuating between really cold and not so cold. It was in the fifties not that long ago ( which for New York City is weird) but it's dropped back to standard winter temperatures more or less since then.

I just love sweaters in general. I usually have to prevent myself from buying a ton of sweaters during winter in general. XD

I am currently still in what I wore to bed. II am wearing pink pjs with a pattern of chubby penguins some are are wearing blue scarfs and others either a light blue winter cap or a light blue and red striped cap. Dots in many colors and sizes are part of the background. I also have on a black flannel robe with a background of pink and white snow flakes and skulls with bows.

Well I've been to the gym a few hours ago, but now I'm wearing men's boxers and a nightgown :)

Pair of jeans and a navy dolman sleeve sweater.

Today I was in sweatpants and a t-shirt all day haha! All I had to do was go and feed a cat I'm looking after, and the weather/roads are complete garbage with the snow we got yesterday, so needless to say I was not keen to go anywhere else.

I don't have a dress code for my job, but it's basically whatever will keep me warm, and something I don't care about getting dirty/covered in dog hair. I always like to look somewhat put together anyways.

PJs and a hoodie. I'm sick and hungover. Not getting dressed for NOTHING.
