Subeta's love for wearables under non-obvious and non-related item names makes finding the perfect types of wearables difficult, so I'm wondering if anywhere/anyone's done any form of "Master List" of finding (official) wearables by theme/color/style/type 😓 (For instance, "Picture Frames", "Old Photo Filters", "Glowing Effects", "Weather"... items of specific themes that may be needed for particular types of avatar that often trend toward names that make searching/search tools difficult)

I've looked all over the place for one and haven't come up with it, so if it doesn't already exist yet, then I'm making serious considerations of making my own project of developing one. <.< (I want to make sure before moving forward though. 😅 )

To sum up/conclude: Is there any form of "master list" when it comes to official Subeta wearables that sorts them all by a number thematic categories? (I know there are lists for singular specific categories, but I mean something like that on a larger scale for a wider array of HA item ideas)

as far as i know, nothing like this exists yet. just the ones listed on this thread.

You are not the only one having this issue, we do get occasional WTF questions here in Help & Questions about it.

I'm a little worried so many of these things are Forum-based and are one forum revamp or deprecation from being lost. Categorization is fun and putting things in order is fun, but it is labor. If you will make such a master list-of-lists, maybe make it on the wikia, or talk to the owners of Subetalodge and see if they will give you pageroom.

I've seen people try to do this in limited areas, but not the whole wardrobe.

One problem is that its a never ending issue each time new wearables come out. Second is the fact that, not counting CWs, there are at least 29K wearables onsite - and then you have the issue of transformable items, hair coupons and other oddities (like completely different items based on if your HA is male or female).

The job is way too huge for one person, and even with a small group would be very hard to manage.

What said. Seriously. I said it was labor but neglected to point out what a huge amount of labor and she has spelled it out.

In the past has been resistant to tagging wearables in the way that we once-upon-a-time tagged minions. Maybe with new PHP7 functionality and work on Wardrobe v3 by who literally wants to implement tagging, this can be made a collective endeavor among all Subeta users.

Somehow I did not see that list before, so thanks for pointing it out to me 😅 Sadly, as helpful as that list is for those categories, it's a limited list compared to all the clothes available 😭 I'm aware and agree that it's gigantic 😭 But I already have this problem of just endlessly scouring the entire layer lists for specific genres of item for my outfits; and since I already eat up much time just doing that, it makes it so tempting to start mapping out the most interesting and odd of them for my future convenience and usage and possibly for others' usage too, if they find and take interest in wherever a potential list might end up 😓 Tagging wearables would be lovely, but I'd worry how long it could take for something like that to come about.. The wardrobe situation has been strange for quite some time, with the "beta" title that never seems to go away, and the long stretches of time where the plans seem abandoned. 😖 I'd agree in not using the forums to contain the lists though.. they're too unstable.

I definitely wouldn't go toward mapping out every wearable, especially since if the category is not something I'd think of to document or would have any interest in using, but I'm still most likely going to try out a prototype system on one of my pets to try on a few interesting categories and see where it goes from there.. So then therefore if anything doesn't work out early on, I'll at least have not promised myself into anything major and can walk away at any point with nothing lost but some time. 😆 Thank you everyone for the information and advice ^^
