Saved the sP but I'm still not sure...

It's worth it to me, but that's because I restock constantly and don't really make my money any other way. The discount only applies to items to buy in the main shops, so if you spend your day restocking rare items or questing, you should consider it.

The savings on my dashboard are since my card was active in August, so 5 months.

It took me six years to get mine to pay for itself.

At this rate of 12.5m every 5 months, it will take you 60 months (five years) to get your card to pay for itself (150m). Then whatever you spared is profit. To "see" your money return (i.e. to get 300m spared by the card) then it would take you 10 years, accordingly.

IMO it's not worth your time. It does not stack with other cards (but it does stack up with the Main Discount 15% off buff and the odds to get the buff are high, I get it every 5 items I buy). You're better off spending those 150m with something else. [edit] The 20% off card is much more affordable and even though it gives a smaller discount, it will pay for itself much faster since it's currently on the SS for 35m.

I bought my card with cash, so technically it's all a profit to me. Also I double checked and my card is actually a 20% discount card! So if I had the 30% one it would be a greater savings.

It also depends on your rate of usage. I spend an hour or two on the site a day, but if you work from home / are a student / whatever, you might actually get your money back on the card faster. I've been on here for 10 years XD

it does stack with the buff, though you are correct that it doesn't stack with the other cards.

I don't think its worth it, at least not for me. I bought one when it was much cheaper, and calculated at the time that it would barely be worth it considering you didn't save on the highest priced items (Subeautique and other special shops).

For it to be worthwhile, you really need to be dedicated to restocking and reselling. I'm a half-assed restocker, and worse when it comes to filling and pricing my shop, which is why it isn't worth it for me.

Yea so the 20% one will pay itself a bit faster since the cash/sp rate is smaller than the 30% price tag even though the discount is smaller. However buying the 20% one with CSC is a lot more expensive (CSC to SP, that would be 160m+ since it's 1500 CSC)

Correcting the math, by the actual sP price, it would take you a year and two months (14 months) to get back what you paid for the 20% one at this rate of 12.5m/5months (that would be 2.5m/month). THAT is a bargain. I'll edit the post with this info!

I don't personally find the 30% card worth it. I have the 20% card and it's somewhere between 50 and 75% paid off (I paid 20m for mine) but the counter on the dashboard was fucked for a while so I have no idea what my savings are actually at (this is also over a couple of years, but unfortunately I don't remember how many).

The 20% discount card is currently sitting in shops for 34m, so unless you restock a lot, I personally think you're better off just getting that one and saving your extra 100m+ towards something else [edit] Edited bc apparently the discount cards were fixed recently

I literally don't even remember when I got my 20% card, or how much I spent. So, I kind of regret it? Because, you know, I don't know if I'm paid back yet or not? Or if it was all just a waste of sP? I think I got it back in 2014, three and a half years ago.

Just in case there was any confusion, the discount cards DO stack with the 15% shop discount buff - just not with other cards!

Also don't forget that while the sP saved amount is technically your "return on investment", the discount level will allow you to restock more items and turn a profit. So you can technically add the amount in your shop till to the ROI as well, don't you think? I don't know, I'm a fan of the card, but I rarely do any math XDD

The problem is (no it's not a problem, it's just a consideration) I have lots of time to play here atm... but this won't last, so I'm a bit unsure if I will be too happy with paying it off in years... I should have gotten one much earlier anyway. ;)

The reward for restocking in and of itself whether or not you have the discount card, this is much higher than the discount. If you don't find this true, then you are not doing it right.
