So yea, hey there everyone, I joined about two days ago. I'm still not totally sure what I'm doing. Since I've joined I've been pretty obsessed with the quests, but I want to eventually work on branching out and doing other things as well. My first few goals were to get some pets I really loved and could see potential characters for, I love to write. I'm really into the dragon type designs, but I already have some goals set for what I want to work towards next.

I happened to stumble upon Subeta after I heard about it on another site. No one specific person introduced me. I just happened to come across a topic discussing this site and I was intrigued. I appreciate the freedom it seems to have compared to some other pet sites. I'm really excited to find more things to do here, this will be fun.

I prefer to go by Lonely on the interwebs, which some people assume carries a sadder meaning I assure you it does not. I'm a very happy college student studying english, who is indeed never actually lonely because I have two cats who are always around. They are my little babies. The older one is Cosmopolitan and he is a rescue who I found by the side of the road as a tiny orphan. I sometimes refer to him as my soul cat, yes I'm the weird crazy cat lady. My second one is Bombay, BG for short, and he is a riot. He is an extremely feisty and annoying little Scottish fold who loves to cause trouble.

My cats are not the only thing in my life that I am passionate about. I love to read and write. I'm currently wrapped up in readings for school, but I am always looking for recommendations and someone to geek out with over a good book. I also love television, anime, and movies. I've seen so many shows, listing them would be kind of sad. I will tell you that I'm currently watching black mirror. The only video game I actively play anymore is Pokemon, or Zelda. I'm super active, my attention span can run a little low at times. I enjoy boxing, hiking, kayaking, paddle boarding, scuba diving, and I love biking.

I was super nervous posting this, I struggle with anxiety in every aspect of my life which sometimes makes me a little antisocial. But, I just said what the heck here I am. Feel free to chat with me about anything, I love new friends. Sorry, I wrote more than I expected to I am a rambler. Also, I'm still not sure if I'm doing things right here I did make sure to read the rules. But, if I am doing anything wrong here please let me know. Or if you have any suggestions for fun things to do around the site, I am all ears.

Hello I hope you like subeta. I found it also just recently, and also alone while stroling through the internet all by myself. It is great that you posted here albeith your anxiety. This is the best way to make a start in meeting new people. And you didn't wrote to much. A bigger pile of text about yourself is giving more information about you, and it's making it easier to start a conversation with you.

I also struggle with anxiety, especially around other people and additionally I have no big talent for communicating with others. So I am always afraid to say something hurtful or weird and often don't say anything to others. Weird Crazy cat ladies are cool. I love cats, but I can't have any pets in my flat. Thats why I have digital pets^^

What are you reading for your classes at the moment? Is it good? I habe a very small knowledge of english literature, so it would be nice to learn about some authors and books.

There are a lot of things to do here. You can be creative in painting, coding or writing for other people or yourself. If you want to to something like that, you can take a look in the creative corner in the forum. If you are into reading you can, of course, read all of the creativ and great character- and pet-stories from the other users. There are a lot of collections, if you are some kind of hoarder ;-) And of course you can invest a lot of time in designing your Human Avatar.

There are also a lot of little games you can play, I, for example, like to play Divine Discs, which is the Subeta-version of the old board game Mastermind. And when you are online you can take a look into the Shoutbox, the little chat on your dashboard on the left. There are often people to chat with. You can also chat with other peoples in the forum. In the Entertainment Corner you can chat about our favorite TV-Series or movies, or games.

So, this is a lot for the start, and I am sure that there will be other, and older, members with more helpful tips for you. If you have any questions please feel free to just ask =)

I've really been enjoying it. :) I hope you've been liking subeta as well. That is true, I feel the same way about anxiety, but you are right posting and pushing myself out of my comfort zone is the best way to meet some new people. Hehe, thanks cats are better than people most times anyway. Aw, at least you have your digital darlings.

I'm not reading anything particularly intriguing or unique at the moment. I'm reading Canterbury tales for like the hundredth time, along with some poetry, Huckleberry Finn, and a handful of articles related to each class. Last semester I read some incredible books for a class The Vegetarian by Han Kang is an amazing South Korean novel that I totally fell in love with it has a lot of intensity to it and was translated very well.

I'm really excited I'm hoping to get some inspiration, I fell into a bit of a rut with my ideas on other sites. I'm also hoping to try my hand at drawing again, but I've never been particularly good at coding my own stuff. I usually just edit premade pages elsewhere. Wow, I haven't checked that out yet. I love reading other peoples stories and characters! There are a lot of things to do here. The pets on the site all look so lovely, I want them all. The Human Avatar designing was super frustrating for me at first so mine doesn't look super great yet.

I've only tried a couple games because I was doing Major Drills quests. I haven't found any I totally love yet. Are games a viable way to make reasonable amounts of money?

Hey there Eli :) thank you so much I absolutely LOVE Black Mirror. It is just so good. Some episodes are a little meh to me, some make me feel a little sick, while others are just so riveting. I stayed up all last night and binged them all. I couldn't stop myself.

Hey I am not yet used to that freedom, I still feel the foreboding loom of a possible freezing. hehe It might take some getting used to, I'm so used to being terrified of the rules or possibly offending someone. Scottish folds are the best they are so sweet and lovely. Mine is scottish fold with a bit of ragdoll so he is just adorable and sweet. They are incredible animals. Thank you so much :)

Hey there that is exactly what I had heard as well I randomly found myself hear when hearing about it on another site that was related to the other pet site I used for a while. I was frustrated by the human avatars at first, but I am slowly finding myself more comfortable. I love the kindness and freedom here, it is quite exciting.

I got my Scottish fold from my friend who is a cat lady. She doesn't believe in fixing her cats so she had four kittens and three grown cats before she decided she needed to give the kittens a new home. :)

I could possibly provide recommendations. It all depends upon what you enjoy reading, I read quite a wide variety of genres.

I tend to enjoy mystery novels the most, but I'm open to any good book regardless of its genre. Fantasy, comedy, romance, drama...I don't pay much attention to genres when looking for a book to reads, so that might be one of the reasons why I haven't chosen something to read lately. 😆

Subeta is a realaxing place to be unless you do something badyou have nothing to fear from getting frozen anyway you get warnings it will tell you that in the rules.What I found when I joined here was that no one tried to scam not like one site I was on before here.
