..you were to donate to some creator? [if you had the money, so on and so forth. it's mostly for a hypothetical situation as i know many of you struggle with finances and such..]
For instance, if you liked a blogger or a youtuber a lot, and you thought "hm, i really like what they create, and i want to make their day a bit better" ... or if this person had a patreon and asked for donations there... what kind of things would you like in return [if they had a reward system in place, based on how much you donated]? Would you donate on Patreon or would you prefer Paypal?
I want to set up an account for donations for my blog [first one in my signature], and i would like to make those who donate feel a bit more special. if you were to donate to me, what would you like to receive as a thank you? what is the most you'd donate with no reward?
[i hope this is in the right section]
I really have to update my blog ObscureJourney and my review site BeingObscure. French speakers can read my reviews here.
I love to receive mail so a hand-written thank you letter would be something I'd enjoy. (Especially if I already admire someone and their writing?)
I'd def only do paypal because that's the only thing I have.
Good luck Lovely!

Thank you!
Ive pondered on donating a large sum of money to Blizzard for a custom item in World of warcraft, A weapon or mount.
A digital watermark of my RL signature that I'm trying to learn to write mirrored. That I would use on my work. It's interesting, my "G" doesn't look like that letter forwards, but backwards it looks like an "H".
As someone who use Patreon for several artists, I'd say rewards are all over the place. Most of them will send small thank-you packages with little prints, keychains, candies, hand written notes, etc. Lower tiers can get me previews, access to certain polls, shoutout, etc. I prefer to receive small irl rewards, since it's real money I'm sending over.
I've stopped donating since then, to small tiers. I find them not really rewarding. I did follow a cooking blog! And the owner created a made-up recipe for me. It was very touching (and they did for several others). We even received said recipe (hand-written style) in the mail, so we could do it at home. [Edit]
Oh no! It was a necro :c
