Hello! I'm not throwing my hat in the ring for Baton (lovely as he is!) but I just wanted to express interest in Download. I'm happy to write up an app detailing my plans, but before I launch into any of that I should say I would only be interested in the name and would plan to name-swap it to one of my current pets (because the pet I have in mind has a (meaningless) binary ID of 1s & 0s which is too perfect for the character, ahah. And obviously you might prefer to adopt them out to someone who is interested in the pet as well. c:

But if you would consider adopting him out for the name only, let me know and I'm happy to write something up.

I appreciate the shoutout! You know I ❤ the bookworms. But I think with eight permies, as tempting as it is to try and add another amazingly smart aaaand a wonderfully low ID to my horde, I would eventually regret it, because that would be nine copies of every book from here on out. XD

Baton is wonderful, not only because that is a fantastic ID, but those books! I've browsed the books read list and I've seen some pretty expensive ones in that repertoire (my boyfriend has been forced to dabble on here, so I was pointing and going "cash shop, token shop, vesnali..." and he humored me. XD) Chiana is up in the twenties on the Book High Score list and three of my other permies are ranked on it, so I love a smart pet. I'm sure you'll have your pick of amazing places!

I am interested in Baton, If he were mine I would continue reading him books and raising his stats. Ive been wanting a nightmare pet , I even have the potion just haven't used it yet. I check in once a day and all my pets are put into the resort, training school and read books daily. I would take good care of him and fill up his treasure slots with nightmare/cursed/dark themed items.

- wow ^^; Baton is a little intimidating with all those books under his belt. Farrin this the reader in my family and he doesn't have so many ^^; I must admit Baton's primary attraction for me is his id though. My readers are my first pets and my fighters are my first four pets so he wouldn't be either I'm afraid. I know I'm not doing myself any favours with this app but I want to be upfront.

I train all my other pets to tier 3, since the opponents have reset they might even make it to tier 4. I read just over 250 books to each one (Baton will have read them all though). I am happy to turn on the stats on any of my pets so you can see I am telling the truth ;)

I try to express my pets personalities through their tcs and am trying to get some of the stories in my head down on paper so to speak. a few of my pets have recently moved around so they have each others treasures but I would say Mooli, Neane, Little.Bean and Sway are good examples.

I'm not sure what I would do with Baton at the mo but I wanted to make sure I made my interest known. I know I am a bit vague and won't be at all insulted if you don't chose me ^_^

Hahaha thanks, yeah he's been a work in progress for a good chunk of years so he's read a lot of expensive books! I would have liked to continue with him but being off of the site meant I missed a lot of the new releases and couldn't find any easy way to figure out which ones I'd missed (besides SubetaHQ, if that still works, which is still very manual when it comes to adding it to my wishlist, heh) so it just became more frustrating than fun.

@ Everyone else: I'll read through the apps for Baton a little later as I have just woken up but a few notes I forgot before:

• Colour/species/name changes are totally fine! He's gone through many of them, lol. He started as an Angel Kumos named Zeyk many, many years ago.
• I'm not likely to adopt him out to someone who just wants him for the ID (as I've seen this mentioned a few times), I'd like someone to continue reading to him if possible. My biggest draw though is towards people who make characters out of their pets, so I can overlook the former for the latter (:

I will be picky as I've had him so long and I'm attached to this silly bunch of pixels, but just to be upfront!

Don't be apologetic. You've invested a lot of time, money and effort into those pixels over the last 10 years! He will make a spectacular pet for anyone willing to continue to build up his stats. His 70 alchemy points means he can equip a healthy amount of scrolls right off the bat, giving him an easy boost into battle quests.

I would definitely keep reading to him as I read to all my pets, and training him every day is a no-brainer with intellect like that. There's no way I could let that go to waste! While I have no specific stories in mind for him, I do make characters and profiles. My pet Chums has recently won the spotlight.

Haha, thank you! I admit I'm attached enough I pondered swapping him over to Feliz' name, but I'd rather give him to someone who can continue the reading and training as I'm sure someone would appreciate it more than I do. Plus Feliz is based on a character who can't read, making the entire thing a bit contradictory, lol.

I love your pet profiles!! I will definitely consider you for Baton (: I will probably decide within the next couple days.

Ah part of me is so tempted to adopt him out as a battle experiment. I would continue to raise his intel to see how far a pet in lower tiers can go by just equipping a bunch of high tier scrolls, then I would start to raise stats little by little....bleh. I already have a bunch of battlers though and it would probably be best for me to focus on boosting their intel first.

I can totally vouch for though. They are super dedicated to their pets and battling ^_^
