Contemplating buying the new challenger item for the book loot but I'm pretty sure my girl can't beat him?

Thoughts on possibility of 5 win success?

I stomped her pretty readily with my t13s and 12s and got three wins against her for one t10 pet. So it seems possible.

Your weaponset is kinda sad.

The Plague Claw is t10 blocks some icons the nightmare does. The t11 Paint Brush Blades also block a significant chunk of what the nightmare does. In between them they have six mod slots. I dunno if you can get phys def crystals, but if she attacks with BOTH Walls, this won't help you much so BNA or curse of boils to injure it underneath all the defensive icons the Walls have might be the best choice even though it doesn't freeze or steal.

I found it useful to have both curse Shrines, and to set them off one after another. That way even if it puts up Walls several turns in a row, it's not getting any free hitsies.

Here's the kicker though: Claustrophobia I will block one of your weapons and Claustrophobia II will block one of your weapons AND all scrolls. You will need STS or RV to tide you over on C II attacks. On C I attacks you will need Cobalt Eternals to supplement whatever weapon or healer you choose. Do you have enough AP to power up about five cobalts plus Focujin/Denizhen/Holy Deluge?

Thank you for all the advice! It sounds like my stats aren't the issue so much as my set, huh? I know that I desperately need to dedicate some sP to upgrades but I'll have to be after I'm mostly done with books, my latest obsession. So for the moment, I guess I'll just buy the loot instead of going through the batting route.

t@Paradise I have an extra copy of Plague Claw and PBB to loan you if you wish, and Cobalt Eternals are buyable from the Millionaire Center if you have the kinda sP you need to get the drops,. There's no easy fix for not having the full blockers or the AP though. Comment me if you want to try.

I have to agree with here. The Cobalt Eternals are great for when you can only use one weapon. I did appreciate having the Temple Shard in my set when I couldn't use a scroll though. That curse only lasts for one turn so having a full blocker isn't bad.

I'd also recommend saving up for the really expensive MC weapons. Natasha and The Ether have made a huge difference in my battling. As well they should at those prices. :D

A T10 with a high health build can get 10 wins with the right set and a T10 with an even build could probably get at least 5 wins with the right set. Your pet can definitely do it with the right set. Cobalt and SE scrolls are very good against the one weapon curse. The cell does have a curse that disables both a weapon and scrolls. The best thing for that is the plague claw + shard or being conservative and using a healer that turn. Blasting the walls closing in weapon with soma and recycle blaster makes battles a lot easier since I think that is the waeapon that triggers both curses.
