i just noticed this new option in the wardrobe's item filters... how long has it been there? i haven't really used the wardrobe in a few weeks but it's definitely new, right? anyway not sure if its appearance is intentional, i haven't seen any announcement about it (but maybe i haven't read the update threads thoroughly enough lately) and it only seems to offer melody's cottage as an option right now. if it were a complete feature that let you sort wearables by their origin i suppose it could be pretty useful, but it also kind of crowds the UI.

keith put it up for his HA contest late last month and... that's basically it lol. that's why it's just melody's cottage, that was the contest category. as for why it's still here... out of sight, out of mind, i guess? he probably forgot to remove it, or otherwise fill in the missing tags, i'm guessing p:

Or, could this be introduced / fleshed out to help sort clothing? So, for example, introduce a filter that would only bring up Subeautique items, or Cash Shop items. Or items that come from holiday shops or events?

I thought that's what it was gonna be before I learned about the contest five minutes ago (hehe). I wouldn't mind such a filter!

I think this is a neat feature and I'm excited to see more location options added to the filter :)

It would be cool for users to tag clothes, then we can search clothes tags. It would be helpful for themed avatars.

Although, I'm sure that's too complicated.

It's a nice filter but needs to be expanded on if it becomes an actual thing.

As I mentioned in another thread, I would love to see this kept and expanded.

Subeautique, the cash boutique and holiday items would be nice. I often think of an item I want to use that I'm sure comes from Subeautique, but can't remember the designer, or from a specific event, etc. It would be helpful.

Unfortunately, it wouldn't be as simple as melody items because those have their own rarity number.

I mean, in plenty of ways, it's no different than any other HA contest or giveaway- they pop up, and unless you're checking the forums, or have a friend/group ping, you can miss it. This wasn't a site sponsored event- just a contest put on by Keith.

That being said, leaving the contest "feature" up in the wardrobe indefinitely is likely to invite critiques and questions such as these.

yeah, it was kind of annoying. i don't generally check bragging and complaining, but i wanted to delete the outfits so i was watching for winners to post; some kind of "i've sent out the prizes" post/update would've been nice x:
