Hey all! I have 1000 csc to spend (I got 500 from the christmas event!) and I was thinking of investing in a weapon or spell so that I can be more of a force during battle events! Does anyone have any suggestions for what I could buy?

My highest pet is t4, but is getting pretty close to t5 if I knuckle down on the training.

If you're looking for items that you can use forever, I recommend Phoenix Quill, Aftershocks Scroll, Reviver of the Lion, and Soma Tablets.

Unfortunately (or fortunately, because that means battling isn't pay-to-play in a real money sense) the Cash Shop weapons aren't the best. You might be better off either selling it and saving up sP, or you can put it towards buying CS challengers. I tend to get those, even if my pet isn't ready to face them yet. That way when she is they're there ready to go.

I agree with almost entirely. The Rainbow Vortex is a handy CSC toy to have but it's a once per battle dealie that will save your butt on occasion. It won't make you pet magically delicious. You can't do here in Subeta what you can do in Neopets where you can throw tons of game scrip at weaponry and make your weak pet hit disproportionately hard.

Your pet is a high enough tier that it's now worth reading books to it so that it has the AP so it can cast the Champion Scroll. Buying all the books and getting someone to make you the scroll (or also buying it) isn't a sell your CSC for the sP amount of money. It is instead time consuming to read the books and a pain to make the scroll..

I just figured someone might be willing to sell me a weapon for CSC, not that I would exactly buy things directly from the shop.

there are no tier 4/5 weapons that you should spend CSC to buy, you'd be spending like 2 to 10 CSC on them in a Trade, and nobody is going to go through the effort to Trade with you for that when you can just drop some sP on them in their shop.

They're all (relatively, battling is an expensive hobby) cheap. This is what I meant when I said you can't hit above your level here on Subeta. 1000 CSC would be overkill at your tier

??? you can turn CSC into sP. Go to the Cash Shop and buy a Cash Shop Gift Card with your CSC, and sell it in your shop for sP. Instant not-poor. Don't wanna shop it? Go to Advertising Forum - Wanted and see if anyone wants some CSC. CSC sells readily, no waiting required.

Furthermore, it's against Battle Forum rules to try to wheel and deal here, so it didn't occur to anyone that you were attempting to buy anything from us right now, and you won't get any bites for your CSC by posting here.

Why would I be trying to buy anything from you right now? That makes no sense.

I was looking for advice for a set for my fighter's level, and maybe ideas for some high value battle items that would be WORTH CSC. As you've repeatedly stated, it's unlikely that I'll need to use CSC at my level, but it's well within the purpose of this forum for me to ask.

There are a lot of users on this site, and plenty of expensive weapons that aren't in the cash shop. "Someone" doesn't necessarily mean you.

A lot of the decent T5 weapons are surprisingly cheap, and for those that aren't, it might be possible to find someone who has something in trades that they might be willing to trade for CSC. If not, buying and selling CSC gift cards certainly ups your sP quickly (I've done it several times, both as a boost towards something I was saving for and as a start after I've made a bank-breaking purchase). A 250 CSC gift card can net you over 29 million sP really fast, especially if you time it around the release of collections or cash shop challengers.

As far as worthy buys go, recommended the best options currently considering your tier. The quill can be used at any tier as can the scroll if you have enough AP. I believe the reviver, and soma tablets are both T5 so it would be weapons to work towards. Both of those can be purchased from the antique shop for sP so it may be hard finding them for resale. The quill is also cheap in the millionaire center, but you may be able to buy with CSC

I like the trident of the banished one for a lot of reasons, one being it scales with your pet. However, that is worth more csc than you have.

That leaves scrolls and I think those are your best options. If you read A LOT of books to your pet, then you can look into these scrolls that are great for high and low tier pets;
