Today started off a little rocky. We woke up to the sound of one of our cats puking. Rushed out of the bedroom to see if they were okay. He was, he had just eaten too quickly. However, the place he chose to throw up was incredibly inconvenient. He was on top of my husband's computer tower. His tower case is built with an open ventilation system on top. So it went straight through to the graphics card and a little on the motherboard. We cleaned it up the best we could, tipped it on its side to try and drip anything we missed, and it will remain so for a couple of days before we try and turn it on (it was off at the time, thankfully) and assess the damage.
After everything was said and done, we decided to go out for breakfast. Then we decided to kill some time before we caught our movie (the new Jumanji). Went to a hobby shop in a couple of towns over. Got an expansion for one of the card games we love to play called Epic Spell Wars: Melee at Murdershroom Marsh, got a new dice game (we've played it before and loved it, just never owned it ourselves) called Dungeon Roll, he bought a bunch of miniatures for our new Dungeons and Dragons campaign, and he bought me two new, gorgeous Chessex polyhedral dice sets to add to my ever growing collection!
After that, we skipped over to the mall and visited some old haunts. Checked out GameStop, checked out f.y.e., and then stopped into Hot Topic. As you stepped in, there was a small shelf of Lisa Frank t-shirts which immediately seized my heart and childhood nostalgia. Directly behind it was a Sailor Moon display. And on the backside of the Sailor Moon was a bunch of Studio Ghibli items (including a Princess Mononoke dress that I am crushed was far too small for me to wear). He bought me a Gigi (from Kiki's Delivery Service) lapel pin, a Calcifer (Howl's Moving Castle) lapel pin of him fryin' some bacon, a Stitch (Lilo & Stitch) lapel pin that says "Stay Weird", and a soft pink, lace-back tank top that says "Moon prism power make up" on it! ❤️

Made a dash over to the theatre to catch Jumanji, and the theatre was completely empty save one elderly woman. Love having an empty theatre! The movie was wonderful. Glad we got to see it before it left theatre. Also got a really good discount on the tickets because not only was it a matinee showing, but they still use the old rewards program even though they were technically bought out by another company, so our tickets were like $6 total.
And now I'm home! I'm supposed to be doing my questing while he runs a couple of errands, but I really wanted to belt out a thank you thread for all of the wonderful presents I've received so far! I can't tell you all how much I really appreciate it!
