I do, I do! I have two girls that I was told were one-year-old Nigerian Dwarf females. One is an old lady, and I'm pretty sure neither is purebred (I suspect Dwarf x Pygmy because they are so incredibly stocky). They are hilarious and sweet.
My husband brought home a borrowed buck to breed to our females, since we are keeping them as dairy goats. This male is supposed to be a Pygmy. There's just no way! He's huge compared to my girls - my best guess is that he might be a mix of some sort, part Dwarf and part who-knows-what! He's much smaller than the guy's LaMancha buck, but definitely no miniature anything (and he's too delicately boned to be a Pygmy, imo)!
Tell me about your goats! Bonus points for photos! And if anyone wants to play "guess the breed" for this male, let me know. xD
I did, but I stopped in 2012 or so. We sold the bunch. I do have some shots, maybe later on I'll post them. I'll weed out any with me in them.
Awww! Why'd you end up getting rid of the herd?
It became too expensive in the end. Along with the threat of stray dogs we felt it would be more humane than simply eating them.
Our herd was about twenty at its biggest. Our milking goats were given the best treatment, and when they were bred it was a joy to receive the new kids. Most shots are with the recently born, but I appear in them...
Wow, that's a lot of goats! I can definitely imagine that would be expensive to care for. We've only got the two, and thankfully they're not too bad so far - Nigerians don't need a lot besides hay and minerals.
I thought I had more...

The first was unfortunately lost, the second and third were the last before we sold off the herd.
Oh my gosh, what beauties! Are they Nubians?
I wish I could tell you. I might have known back then.
With those lovely long ears, I'd have to assume so, or at least part! If I was going to go for a full-size goat instead of Nigerians, I'd probably give Nubians a go. <3
IT'S TOO COLD FOR PICS. The only one I've got is a blurry one of the buck we borrowed to breed to our does, and he was UUUUGGGLYYYYY. Not to mention that he smelled like his own pee, but that's what gets the ladies goin'...
gags
I love goats! Don't have any yet. I just want one as a pet <3
FOR REALSIES. Male goats PEE ON THEIR OWN FACES and in their mouths and all over their beards, and the goat ladies find the smell so enticing that it not only puts them in the mood, but can actually cause them to ovulate. WHAT.
+1 for being human
I found more shots that I forgot about. Seems the whole flock had long ears.
I'd love to see more photos, if you're okay with sharing! <3
