Looking for pretty much anything! I haven't done an rp in a couple years and I need something to grease my wheels and get me back in the game. I really enjoy urban/modern fantasy settings, but if you have a pitch I'll hear it, I have characters for almost anything. I do fandom if I'm familiar with a franchise, but only original stories and characters within the universe. If you're looking for romance I prefer there be a plot in addition to ship. I generally write whatever length my partner writes buy I'm looking for a couple of paragraphs or more per reply. Hmu!

Jon, straight middle-aged human male, acts as sort of a sheriff to the supernatural community in his city and beyond, upholding whatever unwritten laws govern the sentient beings while hunting down violent feral beasties that might show up. Bad at tech, grouchy and stern but a little mushy inside, comes with 2 normal dogs, and demon dog, and a puppy the size of a horse. Stubborn, tends to approach problems directly, doesn't often socialize outside of work.

Kay, mid-twenties, human lesbian, Jon's protege. She's been cataloguing all the supernatural beings (sentient and non) in her laptop and Jon hates it. Not super brainy but has a very good memory and is pretty strategically minded. If she can solve a problem non-violently she'll take the long way around to avoid bloodshed, but isn't squeamish if it's deserved of unavoidable. Fiercely loyal to friends and family, loves video games, has a dead twin brother who I've been considering bringing into her story as some kind of ghost/spirit/entity but I haven't developed the idea much. His death is a sore spot for her but she won't throw a drama llama emofit over it if it gets brought up.

Michel, genderfluid hedonist demon, thinks they're the shit, super manipulative. Thinks of literally everyone else in the world as expendable playthings. Probably not a great choice to play with unless you have a very specific plot in mind you think they'll fit with.

Lani, early-thirties human-cyborg, bisexual female) though there is an alt-version of her where her artificial parts (arm/shoulder and eye) are magic/mechanical rather than robotic. Treasure hunter and brawler, thrill-seeking adrenaline junkie. Travels the world/universe/multiverse/timestream (depending on which version of her) looking for new places to explore and new challenges to overcome. Brings home artifacts to turn a profit but considers that secondary to the satisfaction of completing a goal. Loud and social, wants to fight (but like, in a friendly way, ya know?)

Sophie, late 20s asexual female, bookworm, inventor. Clumsy, but only a little bit the awkward nerd type - not a social butterfly but not overly shy either. Admittedly bad at small talk, but happy to talk about her work. Works with Lani behind the scenes, researching the artifacts she finds and the locations she explores, has possible invented some kind of teleporter/time machine/interdimensional portal depending on the setting. Has a rabbit, likes exotic coffees and tabletop gaming. Tiny and cute.

Dori, gay human male, early twenties. Former class clown, bit of a manchild, loves to eat terrible food. Lovable goofball, frequently injures himself doing stupid shit for laughs. No discernable career path, probably doing something like ubereats for money. Musically talented but hides it well. Collects the neighborhood street cats.
