I was poking around my gallery and was astounded to find that suddenly this item-- which had never been released*-- was in shops! *Okay so actually it was a plot-related item that wasn't available to keep until now.

Don't get me wrong, I am SO happy about this - I never thought it would get released, so thank you a million times to staff ❤ But how? When? Where did it come from? Was it in the Free Shop? Why didn't I know?! SubetaLodge still says the item is unobtainable.

I think they were a temporary item, one that was "given" to you when there was a prank of stinky balloons in one of the Atebus hangars (when you go back into the past). This item was then used right back up when you reported in to the next step of the site event with the time rifts. So nobody should actually have one of either

I know other temporary items like the soap and bucket from the Mattieu scavenger hunt were eventually released via Millionaire Center even though they had no use but TC fodder. Maybe the balloon fragments are in the MC, or maybe someone got them from Forum Box or Free Shop somehow.

That's weird, I went on SubetaLodge and searched the word "unobtainable" (in the Notes search) to try and find this and other temporary plot items, but the balloon fragments were not in the results. I searched them again by name and they came up. Now I'm wondering how many other items there are like this one that I've never seen before, they're really interesting. What is the soap and bucket you refer to?

this is one of the three items you needed to help Mattieu. I found it by using "mattieu' in Subetalodge's Notes section. The other two items you needed were a sponge and some kind of detergent, but I can't find those.

I though these were available via MC, but I don't see them there now. Maybe they are Recycle or Fragmentizer items.

Okay, that plot happened like right before I joined Subeta I think, so I never really knew what the balloon fragments were for... just that they existed and I couldn't have them, and that drove me crazy!! LOL

They are definitely not in the MC, recycle center, etc., but I didn't think about forum boxes. I'm hoping someone who either got them there or in the free shop or wherever can post and let me know where they got them - just because I'm curious, lol. I've wanted them to be made obtainable foreverrrrr so I could put them in my gallery, so now I wanna know how it happened! (Obviously, I bought the item as soon as I found out it was in user shops!) Now if the green ones will just be put out there, I will be a content balloon! ;)

Even staff doesn't know! MYSTERY BALLOONS :O Unfortunately, those were the only two I knew of, and only because they had "balloon" in the name :P
