Yeah, I've seen individuals like that - it sucks. But I've never seen verticals! Only ever horizontal lines.

I have heard, but I don't know how good the info was, that singletons only ever show up on the edges. Cannot confirm the truth of it, the only time I saw a singleton it was on the edge - but that's just 1 bit of info.

Anyway, I never thought I'd get past level 8 either. I only play when drills asks (and if I'm in the mood to waste time), but I still manage to get to level 9, so it isn't hopeless.

Glad to know it isn't hopeless! I really was beginning to think it was, ha! I get 1-2 verticals every time I play level 8, though I don't remember ever getting any (or many) on the lower levels.
