What was the name of that site where you can dress your HA for fun outside of subeta?
[Center]well, it's been a slice. I'm outta here. I'm done here and I need to move on to other things. I've grown weary of forum bullies and just don't have the energy for them anymore. I am praying for my friends here, as well as the bullies... everyone needs prayer...
As for my friends, I love you immensely and you are always in my heart and in my soul. God bless each of you and I pray He blesses each of you greatly.

This question really isn't related to CW discussion and should probably go in the help forum. - can one of you move this?
yes this was the wrong forum. my bad. my mind is in overdrive today and I just threw them all in here. so again, I am sorry.

I've moved this over to Help and Questions (thank you ❤️), though it could also be in Avatars... Hmm As for the question: I actually think there are no more off-site HA makers for Subeta. The only one I knew of disappeared years ago (was it arvee ?)
yep, it was so fetch on arvee but the site no longer exists. you can still do the same thing here by unchecking the "only show items you own" option in the wardrobe so you can play around with all items on the site and even save the avatars to display elsewhere using the "save to shared outfits" option - you just can't actually wear them onsite if you don't own the items.
what I'm trying to do is save wardrobe images without having a black bg in my doodle program. I don't know how to get rid of the black bg when fidgeting with options, those other wardrobe sites allowed me to save images with a transparent bg.

You can also do that with the latest version of the Wardrobe! Just save (not wear) the outfit you were working on, then navigate to the "Outfits" link.
Right-click on the outfit you made, then select "Save image as..." The resulting image should have a transparent background, if you have no background items equipped. Take note that any hidden layers may appear in the saved outfit, though. :)
awesome! thank you very much!
actually, trying that now... so I put on an item and saved it to 'outfits'.... I go to 'outfits' and save that item or copy/paste it to my doodle program. It didn't work.

What program do you use? This isn't related to Subeta, but more for graphic/drawing design etc. Are you trying to put clothing on an avatar in this program? I may be able to help you if you'd like. I use GIMP to do this when I need to release a cw. My knowledge ends there unfortunately, as I don't use anything else.
oh thanks. I appreciate your advice. I use psp. What I'm doing is like playing paper dolls. I use a subeta HA base, and I have saved images of wigs, shirts, shoes, makeup, etc. I layer them on top of the HA. I only do this to create "created" HA's using cw's I have commissioned. Showing what the cw looks like layered with other items. I've heard of GIMP. Maybe I should dl this.

If you do use GIMP, I can definitely help you in regards of what you are doing (including transparency etc). There are a tons of guide online as well. You basically need to save every single file of your clothing in transparency and then you can use them on an avatar base. But I reckon seeing this somewhere on Subeta as well ...
ok I'll dl it now.
...ok got it. One question, which I'm sure is of many, how do I get a transparent image into my gimp program?

As long as your image is indeed transparent, you can slide it onto a new canva and it should be okay. (I usually do it with my file box open so I can just slide it in because I'm lazy).
do you have messenger? I don't know if discussing this would be more appropriate there or here. I have more questions...

I'm not willing to share my private messenger but feel free to comment me.
ok that's fine. no worries. I have to go somewhere right now. When I start horsing around with the GIMP program, I'll comment you. Thank you so much for helping me with this.

That's strange. It should work in GIMP as well, as far as I know. This is what I do - I right-click on the avatar image, like so:

Which gives me this transparent avatar:

If you copy-paste instead of save, the background WILL be black.
'm talking about individual piecess, like for instance, your wings. say I chose your wings alone. I want to copy/paste them into my program with a transp bg. But with the GIMP program, it may solve the problem. I'm just unsure what is what in there.

Oh, I see!
In that case, open your outfit, then hover over the item you want to save, so that you'll see the preview, like this:

Then hover away from the list, but be careful not to hover over anything else:

Right-click on the overlay preview (the one only showing the item), select "Save image as...", then you should be prompted to save the overlay for that image. Again, if you just copy-paste it, the image might have a black background. So just open the saved file in GIMP.

You should end up with the transparent background overlay:

perfect. Ok I just did that and I see a 50%black bg. I don't know if that's really transparent or will that semi transp bg will show from the program. I guess I need to go dig up a guide and find out what is what.
