This is a place to sing the praises of the new Luminaire/Melody items!
I just wanted to say that is the most gorgeous item I've seen thus far on this site and I really love what it adds to the layering system. Thank you so much for pretty glitter lights! BEST LUMINAIRE GIFT EVER!
Thanks for all the other fun Melody items this year, too! I am looking forward to seeing the rest of them.

I particularly want to thank staff for doing so many user suggestions this year! I had a look back through the thread where people were requesting things, and they really did turn quite a few of them into actual items.

WE ALSO REALLY LIKE USER INPUT. and I link all these threads to each other before holidays so we get a general idea of what users want + adding in our own lore based things etc. Like this year I feel like has been a great mix of things users have wanted in some form + adding to the traditions that the land based books laid out last year (totally cried over my lil pirate treasure tree of chocolate).
I've linked to threads like the what do you want to see for luminaire (or insert other holiday) on the Sprint Thursday threads so more people see them. USER SUGGESTIONS = GOOD. We obviously can't do every single thing people suggest, but again it's a great baseline for us!
Yay, was going to make a thread like this! :D I've been loving so many of the Melody items this year. I'm a huge fan of having Subeta related items (as opposed to real-life ones.. i.e. I prefer Ruffie items over dog items..). So I loved many of the items this year!
Loved these fun new items that have Subetan origins.
..especially the Raffles items.
We've had some BEAUTIFUL wearables, which are very Luminaire-y and very usable.
And some assorted favourites that I have adored.
I also loved the plushies and beanbags we got this year. TOO CUTE. Also too many to list haha.
It has been a great year of items. ;D AND we still have a few more days!! I'm so excited.
Holiday Things
There has been an abundance of adorable, way too cute items this year! That made me super excited to go to Melody's Cottage every day, even the items I'm not into collecting, like beanbags and plushies, have made me smile this year.
I've loved the items this year. Some years the wears have been stuff that you can't really use on HAs after the season is over, but this year has been great for stuff that you can use all year round.

This is my new favorite item. I've bought about three for various collections around the site.
I love every single item we got this year... with only really one exception but still all these items have been so amazing, every year the artists keep getting better and better~ Thank you!
My easy favorite. Let me express my disappointment in the lack of an archan paw hat though.
I love the special coffee item today. I work in a coffeeshop sometimes and the only difference between the regular mint coffee and the holiday one was a spoonful of Peppermint candy on the top-and a 10 cent price increase! So this item made me smile.

Oh man I forgot to say, the moment I saw that item I immediately thought of you and your mamegomas. :'D It's a great item 10/10 would seal again. (That and also the Luminaire Sweater Bumbus Plushie reminds me of you too haha. ❤️❤️) If they weren't semi-expensive and I wasn't hecka broke from gifting people this year I'd probably try to send you some just for the heck of it. x'DDD It seems so very you! ... Especially that scarf. I'm a total sucker for scarves in general, but a scarf with gemstones?! Sign me the frick up oh man holy geez.
