Doesn't have to be on a tree!

I have a lot of favorites, but I especially like multi-colored lamps and those christmassong-singing windup toys. :3

I love fairy lights more than anything! I don't have a tree but I still hang them up in my room :3

My favourite is those icicle style lights that hang across the house outside. Depending on the colours they can be absolutely gorgeous. I also like those big trees that are all one colour of lights and nothing but that batch of lights... there is a retirement home near where I live that decorates all the trees on their lot with lights like that and its so pretty when going past at night... because they are in dark colours like cobalt or amethyst ore emerald!

My favorite are my collection of owl ornaments! An especial favorite is my carved gourd owl, which I believe was handmade somewhere in Africa.

I'm a big fan of artificial trees in neon colors.

I love the christmas windows that look like its half have snow on it i think they are sticker decals but i have yet to find them in store!

A Groudon keychain I sneakily put on the christmas tree for years now....

I love the inflatables that you can put outside. We have a fox and a polar bear this year. :)

Oh <3 I love fairy lights and I'd put them everywhere if my family would allow it XD EVERYWHERE. Even on the cat.

My late granny's christmas tree had 100+ straw stars on it. Nothing but those precious little guys: I love them so much but strange enough, I don't own a single one!

my grandma did a whole bunch of yarn ornaments - i'm talking like, at least a hundred, maybe more. she went all out for christmas - a tree, garlands, one of those light-up hallmark christmas village displays with cotton snow and everything. after she passed, one of my cousins took the christmas village display and we took a bunch of the yarn ornaments. we've like got four kinds of snowflakes, sleighs with candy cane runners, bells, two colors of christmas trees with beads (white with red beads and white with green), santa faces, tiny yarn boxes with charms glued in so they look like little jack-in-the-boxes, regular miniature present boxes, a couple of mini stockings... combined with the regular ball ornaments we've got enough for two big trees, probably! i love them a lot, they're my favorite part of decorating for christmas.

I love my stocking holder! It's a frosted glass reindeer and I've had it for years! (It also led to me getting a lot of reindeer-themed gifts for a while, but I can't complain!)

Today we drove by a house that had a gorgeous light up peacock yard decoration on display, too! I kind of want one, even though we don't do outside decorations here!!

I don't have it anymore, but when I was in ... 5th? grade, my parents got me a mechanical Sylvester (Loony Tunes) dressed as Santa Clause. It was probably two feet tall.

My favorites are the ornaments my best friend and I hand painted a few years back. We did them in my college's colors ( blue and orange ) and they turned out really well. Blue and orange also happen to be our favorite colors ( blue for me, orange for her). I take them to school with me and put them up on the little tree I have every year, it reminds me of her everyday, even though I can't see her as often as I would like.

My fave is not having to put any up, lmao. Although the solstice altar is often prettied up with my crystals. - v - And those are always fun to decorate with.

My mom's Christmas village has always been my favorite. It's so beautiful with the fake snow and everything. Love it.
