I'll start -- the best gift I've given is the gingerbread village a lot of you have now. I know I know you paid for it, but hey. It's the thought that counts right?

Hands down the best gift I have ever received was my grand daughter.

Gave my friend a fan good card collection of SHINee, she loved it, although she is probably very sad now. PS: I, myself, are not too crazy over K-pop.

I think the best gift I have ever received would have to be my very first stuffed wolf. I got him when I was seven...he'll be 24 this year, and he is now very shabby, but I still love him...and he still has a place on my bed.

I think the best gift I've ever gotten was a handmade pillow that made for me. It's a square pillow sewn from a pink and white bandana and I adore it to pieces. That pillow has traveled everywhere with me. I always take it on trips away from home so I have a piece of home and my love with me! Also the video she made me for our last anniversary set to Ed Sheeran's "Perfect" and the scrapbook she made me one year with pictures of us two. <3

The best gift I've ever given, I think, is the scrapbook I made of the two of us, from the very first time we met all the way up to the present time when I gave it to her (which I believe was either for her birthday or as an anniversary gift, I can't recall anymore haha). I still love looking at it with her. <3

Probably my Nintendo 64. My grandma waited till I was unwrapping the last of my gifts and slipped it behind the tree saying I had missed two. It was a N64 and Mario 64. Though I've gotten most of my systems as gifts. It's just the way she did it with hiding it till the end. Little 9 yr old me lost her mind seeing Mario in her hands.

One of my very dear friends, that I met on Subeta, made me the most ridiculous giraffe for my birthday this year + last year (it took her a while to do it, she's very busy). I took it into work and my coworkers and I have spent the past few weeks moving it around in different spots surprising each other. We work in a museum, so one of the educators and I made him an 'exhibit' and put it on our administrator's desk.

Since I've brought him in he's gained: the bowtie, the name tag, the flag, and also a kippa (that you can't really see in that picture). His neck is like 22 inches. HE'S THE BEST AND I LOVE HIM

My family pulled together to finally get my mom the industrial/professional stand mixer she's wanted for years. We had to give it to her early, I couldn't handle the wait!!

The My Little Ponies I received when I was 5. It started me down a road that I am still on to this day, a road that's brought me a lot of joy and some of my best friends.

As far as recent gifts (though it wasn't for Christmas)... A bunch of my friends pooled their money to purchase this little guy for my birthday some years back and I love him so much. It was so sweet, so thoughtful, totally unexpected. I wanted to buy him (he was relatively cheap as far as dolls of that kind) but was prepared to buy him on my own, and then he showed up at the door and I was just blown away because I love my friends.

The best gift I've given...or I'm going to give to my sister, is a framed "The Crow" transparent poster with a duct tape backdrop I made myself.
