I got a bag of frozen Cod nuggets(im guessing there fish nuggets?) gave to me.. never had them in my life.. ive got no clue what they taste like..so im not sure what to fix with them.. Im on a budget and have to work with what I have on hand..
The cod nugget bag says freshly caught..but doesn't say anything else like cooked fresh or frozen fresh.. I can feel less than 10 nuggets in the bag..Feels like maybe 5..
I have canned corn canned green beans butter dried basil water pepper canned applesauce ketchup canned mixed veggies cooking spray(for the electric skillet)
cooking source electric skillet (the knob goes up to 350 degrees Fahrenheit it has a lid with a small hole to let some steam escape.) microwave

Oh, IDK, I'm not much of a fish person. Probably some mixed veggies would go with it. I don't know about microwaving them though. I would look at the instructions on the bag, if there are any. They should probably be cooked on the skillet. You can microwave the veggies though, just put 'em in a microwave safe dish. :3
If those nuggets are not cooked, don't microwave them because it's not good. Not sure if the skillet would bake them properly either. You usually have to deep fry them/bake them in the oven.
If they're in small pieces, maybe no more than an inch thick, I'd say you could safely cook them in the electric skillet with some of the butter or cooking spray. I'd cook the cod first, until it's cooked all the way through (unless it's precooked, then you can just heat it up), and then add some of the veggies you have, some pepper, make sort of a stir fry out of it.
Are they breaded already? If not, I'd say, make a stir fry with them.
Yes I think there breaded. The bag doesn't show a picture..I think it's one of those share the harvest things..Where it's not from a store it's a thing where local farms donate some of there crops and it ends up feeding people in need.I can't explain it very good..you can look it up to see what im talking about though.

Oh okay! Those shouldn't need too much to be good then, honestly. You could just have them with a nice dip and mashed potatoes, tater tots, or fries if you can get some and maybe a salad of some kind made from the veggies you have.
so far there still in my freezer..Basically been eating Ramen noodles..
Im eerie of cooking things ive never cooked..Specially when im on a extremely tight budget..It'ts like one mess up could ruin the whole meal..causing the food to have to be throwed out.Which would waste electricity used to cook the food and the food itself would be wasted.
My stress levels are high due to bills pilling up..Sigh..Prices just keep going up on everything.I don't even buy a gallon of milk anymore I get those boxes of milk for $1.00 at the dollar tree the kind that are on shelves and don't need refrigerated till after there opened.
