Hi guys!
I have started a forum group for those who know (or are interested in) learning about the Myers-Briggs personality types. You probably have seen these around, even if you don't know what they mean -- things like INTP, ESFJ, and so forth. :) I have found repeatedly over the years that this is the most accurate personality typing out there, and the results for my friends and I have been dead-on after repeated testings.
If you are interested but do not know your type, I encourage you to try out this test found here -- it should be free, still, and it has a lot of good information and a fun (but good) base test to get you started!
Join # mbtitypes for general conversation! You can also join # intjintp if you are one of the INTJ or INTP types -- or just want to chat with some! :)
I'm INTP this sounds interesting.
- Join up! :D I'm INTJ -- like 4 of my 5 best friends are INTPs. Hi, potential new friend! :)
Nice to meet you! Sorry for the delayed response, I've been busy with festivities.
I forget what I am, but I'm definitely introverted!
- I think this is the best online test for typing, and it's a pretty fun one! The site has a lot of good information even if it doesn't go too in-depth. It has (re-)typed my friends and I who have gone through the tests before. https://www.16personalities.com/free-personality-test">Clicky!
No matter what you type, you should join the new general group, ! <:)
That link is blank, but I can Google later. I joined and I'll post my personality type later
INFP-A here. I remember being surprised how many of my online friends were INFP as well :)
Interesting... I am an ISFP-T.
- I tried to fix it -- lemme know if it's still messed up!
- Very interesting! I don't know much about either of those types!
i'm an intp or an infp, it switches pretty much every time i take the test (personally i identify more with feeling than thinking).
I'm an ISTJ-A, the Logistician. I've taken a number of MBTI-based tests over the years, and without fail, I always test the same. There are no 'iffy' scores on my test (I=100%, S=81%, T=78%, J=89%, with A coming in at 78%). And yes, the ISTJ description fits me to a tee. :)
I'm an INFJ. I've taken these in the past when I was much younger, and it's changed drastically from the ISFP I got the last time I took it years ago. I'm not sure what that means, if anything though.

I never take any test seriously. Too bad dexterity isn't factored I'm a proud Southpaw.

I think I understand the joke now.
I am INTP-T. I think I've heard about this test once in an advanced training seminar with a focus on teamleading for teachers. Typological methods for describing personalities are usually less significant than dimensional methods.
It is interesting that the test itself is using 5 different dimensions, but is reducing it into a few categories. The percentages at the five used dimensions are more expressive and detailed than the personality-type the test gives you. Do you know why the test does this?
And do you know if the test is in any way important in the psychological research, or is it more of an internet-just-for-fun-thingy? Psychological personality tests are centered around the big five (extraversion, openness, agreeableness, conscientiousness, and neuroticism). It seems that the traits that are used in the Myers-Briggs-Test are like them, but not the same. Do you know why they are using different traits?
ENTP over here :0 lots of I types on subeta huh. ive taken the test a lot over the yrs and always gotten entp so I guess im stuck!

OMG YES. I'm so into this.
I'm an INFJ. 10/0 introvert. You'd never know from talking to me because I'm not quiet, my battery just drains about a thousand times faster when I'm around people and I have yet to be alone long enough to start needing social interaction (my current record is 11 days of total solitude and it was blissful.)
