A lot of times I see items with names like "Awesome banana phone", with the icon of a happy banana, but the wearable version of it it's like "a messy blond hair". Is there any way to search items for what they actually are when you wear them and not the "creative names"? I was trying to find different mouths but "mouth" returns only 6 items, cw included, and I'm pretty sure I saw tons of "mouth" items before, but I have no idea how to search for them without actually navigating through all the items from each layer [because a lot of times you have items like "wolf ears" called "Blue potato" with an icon showing a book, that are not in the "ears" layer, so you wouldn't find them by name, appearance nor searching there >: ] I'm honestly lost.. Can't we have a tag system so we can add tags to items and facilitate this? @'

You can try other keywords like "lip" or "lips" for mouth items :)

But yes, I understand what you want to say. There is one thread in the suggestion boards that proposes a new sorting for the layers...

The only way to get out of the dilemma right now is to create drawers and put the items you own in there. :<

Subeta has a lot of wearable clothes, I have nearly twenty thousand items in mine. They were bound to run out of names. I am sorry this is so frustrating for you.

You can limit things somewhat by looking at them in your Wardrobe or via the fansite Subetalodge. These allow you to sort by layer. If you find something that's an awesome banana and it's in the face layer, it's likely mouth nose or eyes, but not gloves or loungerie.

Once you have limited by layer you can hover over it. This can go pretty quickly because Subeta makes many color versions of the same thing, so there will be a red awesome banana or a green awesome banana.

Most of the really ridiculous names are CW items, so you can filter those out by using the checkbox that excludes those. If you are a new player you can sort by ascending as older items are cheaper.

This isn't directly helpful, but in the Human Avatar forum you can ask for advice on items that will serve your purpose.

Most lip or mouth items are either makeup or horror. So words like gloss, balm, stick, tooth, fang, or smile can help you find them.

[edit] oh yeah, tags have been Suggested a few times, and is for them so who knows maybe we will see them.

When I'm looking for an item that does something in particular I use thw Wardrobe on Subeta and filter it by the layer I think it may be on.. such as "Face" for lips. And then I just look at all the items there (and I choose not to display the CWs (Custome Wearbles)). It's not the perfect solution but I often have the same issue as you. ):
