It's extremely annoying having to click fairies one at a time from the inventory to release them and I'm not inclined to run to my inventory every time I pick up one fairy, so it would be nice if we could have some means of releasing all our collected fairies (or how many we select) in one go.

I don't want to be able to mass release exactly, but maybe just a click screen like turning in pumpkins or throwing items in the fire. That seems like a happy medium between mass release and what we have now.

I hate the click-by-click process of releasing fairies/deleting pumpkins etc! I've played through so many annual events and my scores for this type of achievement are still less than 200 for this achievement type u_______u It's 100% annoying but I think that it's supposed to be a laborious task in order to reach the achievement. Personally, I've just accepted that I'm just too impatient/lazy to earn those achievements anytime soon lmao

That'd be too easy, nope nope nope but 's idea seems just perfect, why not? We can mass throw items on the fire and there is not one but two achievements for it.

That's the point of the releasing of the fairies, is that you have to work for the prize.

Besides, everyone knows that Snow Fairies fly like Woodstock in Peanuts. If you release snow fairies en masse, their wings get caught and torn. And then they start fights with each other about caught and torn wings, catching and tearing more wings. And then you get a whole 'nother Unstable Snow Fairy event. How dare you make all those helpful snow fairies all injured, sick and angry? Release them properly one by one so that they can find their own path.

No Support.

Unless you want to make it an sP sink. NPC Selena can charge you for her safe and sane fairy releasing services, 10KsP per release.

As a user who released them all by hand, I am against making it easier to do. I do support 's idea because at the same time, it reduces clicking and it's easier to keep track.

I like Sworn's idea as well. But I can understand that it wouldn't exactly be fair to those who had already had to delete them one by one for the achievement. I still like it tho :3

's idea is actually one of the possibilities I have in mind (and honestly more along the lines of what I'm thinking of. I don't really care one way or another as long as there's some alternative because some of us have lives and can't manually release fairies one at a time from the inventory for days straight even if we wanted to.

I'll take the sP sink option if that's what it takes, tbh. Having to manually release fairies one at a time is also annoying for clearing out inventory (especially with how frequently they appear now) so I'd say there's another incentive for that besides the achievement.

I'm fine with it. Someone being able to do something more efficiently in the future does not discount what's been done by other users before in the past. It doesn't bother me in the least bit. In fact, I had a post that's pretty relevant to this about another 'too many clicks' topic so, I'll just copy that in. haha.

Personally, I'm fine with the idea. Even if we had to manually release in the past, I don't mind if other users can do it more easily in the future.

Remember when we used to have to copy and paste item names into shop search to quest? Or, how we had to manually check each and every item to frag them? We also could not search our entire account to find out if we had an item either. And, there was a time before wishlists too and you'd have to manually keep track of what you wanted. yuck!

Each achievement is also only worth one point as well. There's no weighting for difficulty or anything.

Just because things were hard in the past is not a good enough reason, to me, to continue with making things difficult in the future. The people that are going for those achievements still have to acquire that many fairies to begin with, and that's also tricky and time consuming. You either have to be on to find them or buy a crapton of them! But, that's why I liked manually doing it, since it allowed for more pageviews = more chances for more faries~

Maybe put a limit on how many a user can release for the day (50~250)? Or, make it a random buff when you find one or for the RE? That way, not everyone can do it all of the time and it'd be a perk for being on and playing the game still.

Yeah, I have all these achievements, released one by one and I really don't mind if its made easier for future users. Its silly anyway to make it "hard." Its not difficult to do, just tedious and boring and why on earth would you want things on your website to be tedious and boring? You want to attract people, not send them off screaming into the night.

's idea does seem to be a good compromise between making it too easy (for those who care) and tedious and annoying as it is now.

We don't need silly lore to keep this hard. This is a game, not everything has to have some silly back story for why something is the way it is.

I was thinking along the same lines as where there might a hard limit a day. I think the servers might not be too happy if people released their entire hoard at once. I mind a hard limit on how many you release in a day.

And I speak as somebody who's thrown a lot of sP at this. I've only just barely gone past the 250 tier for catching them, so being 800+ in meant I bought most of my way to this achievement. This is the hard part. Whether you earn the sP and spend a great deal of timing sitting the shop search buying them or you wait a century to amass all the fairies you need based on what the site gives you, getting 1000 fairies in the first place is the hard part.

For now, I've found that if you open a new tab/window to use a item, you can do a hard refresh on the item menu once you've used the item in a different tab/window. At least you don't have to go back into your inventory every time. Still tedious but it helps.

Only if those who released a click at a time get some sort of extra prize, lol. Otherwise... get clicking, kids.
