Okay, I'd like some input. I'm creating a story for a female Breton member of the Dark Brotherhood. (Nerdy references abound!) Her name is Renae Grigori but is known to most others as Kriivah, which is the Dragon word for "Murder." Yes she is in the Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim timeline, no she is not the Dragonborn. She dual wields daggers, and has a fondness for her bow and arrow for sniping shots as well. She's also level 100 in Alchemy and Stealth, and has a real affinity for poisons.
Here's her in-game appearance:
Sooo anyway, I'd like to hear about the kind of pet I should make her. I've narrowed it down to two:
Pros: Dark, terrifying and shadowy. (Also a Nightmare pet that I don't already have! :p) The piercing stare and threatening pose are perfect, as is the heartless smile.
Cons: Not quite bloody enough. (This can be fixed with the aid of an artist.)
Pros: The narrow face and the lithe body work nicely to give the illusion of someone small and able to move through the shadows or squeeze into places no one else thinks could hide a person. Plenty bloody, but...
Cons: Not quite threatening or dark enough. (This can be fixed with the aid of an artist.)
My cons are basically easy enough to fix, but that leaves me stuck between the two with nothing tipping the scales one way or another. Input from outside eyes would be wonderful. :)

Ahhh I JUST got done playing Skyrim for the night! Haha. I love that game so much. I've also recently discovered the amazing world of mods, and that's renewed my interest with new lands and new fun things (also new hairstyles and tattoos and new perk trees and and and alllll the things).
To you post, I would personally go with the Nightmare Kerubi. As you said, she looks waaaaayy to innocent for that kind of work, and that's kinda what the Kerubi gives me in terms of a specific vibe. It's like a cute little kitty cat.. until it smiles that terrifying smile and then eats your face off. The Kumos strikes me as more of a menacing figure overall. It's OBVIOUS it can kill you.
hee oh yes! <3 I'm going to be trying out Falskaar, The Gray Cowl of Nocturnal, Beyond Reach, Beyond Skyrim - Bruma, The Forgotten City and the Wheels of Lull one after another. Plus several immersion mods. :D
