I know this has been suggested before, but I can't seem to find where so if there's still an active thread out there, please let me know.

I really, really would like to be able to remove stickers from my collection somehow. Even if it's only possible to remove multiples. Even if I have to pay ridiculously for it. The sticker itself definitely should be destroyed in the process. Please ;^;

Also please let us block users from sending us stickers at all (everyone can stick/friends can stick/nobody can stick type settings)

Yes, please! I love being randomly stuck, but I don't like having multiples in my collection Unfortunately it's fairly difficult to avoid, but having the option to remove stickers would be nice. Maybe the Hustler can expand his self-sticking business to include sticker removal and sell a product that dissolves the glue or the sticker itself?

i think being allowed to remove stickers from our collection would be fair, considering we can be non-consensually stuck with unwanted stickers with no way to prevent or undo it. like i appreciate the sentiment pal but what if i were going for an aesthetic? what then? you ruined it dude.

Being able to remove stickers would be very helpful, for either duplicates or unwanted stickers being stuck without asking first. I have a few duplicates myself I wouldn't mind removing so this has my full support

I would like something for this as well, since I also don't really like having duplicates in my collection.

And like the OP says, even if I have to pay for it and the sticker is destroyed, I'd still use this as an option for like the 10 or so multiples that I have currently.

I think the Hustler would maybe be a good place for it as well, since he does the self sticking already,

I don't really see the problem with having duplicates, its only a number in your collection anyway? then theres the difficult route in saying which other collections should I be able to take items out of?

I'm all for there being a way to block unwanted stickers being stuck to you though, through the preferences like gifts and whatnot.

It's only a number, but it still bothers me (and a fair number of other people, based on this thread popping up repeatedly). I'm not looking to remove the items as in, put them back in my inventory. I just want to eliminate that number. I don't need or want the items themselves (hence the "even if the item is deleted in the process" in the OP), I just don't want them in my sticker album either, which is the only collection (besides the minion zoo, where every item is able to be removed) that allows doubles in the first place. I'm sure there are instances where doubles are useful, but not for me haha

That said, I'm all for an option to not be able to be stuck with stickers. I thought about mentioning it in the OP, but unfortunately, that won't do anything to fix the sticker doubles that I already have. I'm still in favor for it, but I'd rather/also like to see a way to remove them

I'm for this. I'd like to be able to remove extras or ones that I just do not care for; like ones I've been drive-by sticker'd with. :P

Also like the idea of the Hustler handling sticker removal, as mentioned. (hey, maybe they'd like more of our money too? haha.)

I think this thread kinda misses the point of stickers. I think stickers should stay.

It's a sticker book. Stickers get stuck. It's what stickers do, they stick to things. :) ❤

In RL stickers get stuck to you by friends, and even if they know something about it and put it kinda sorta where you want it part of the sticking is the story about it and how it's stuck. Sometimes you yourself have a different location idea in the future, but there's past you all along.

An option to reject stickers is also kinda against the point of stickers existing as a separate kind of collection in the first place. They are meant to be interactive, even if the interaction is in a stick the above person thread.

Real life stickers can also be removed from things with enough perseverance and the right kind of solvent. (ETA that real life stickers can't be rearranged at will either, unless they're removable. so)

I do collect stickers here but being able to turn the option off could also be helpful for people who don't want stickers. For what it's worth, I wouldn't want my friends to go sticking things on my stuff (or even in my sticker book) either. Either I do it myself or it doesn't get stuck.

I'm all for it as long as the sticker gets destroyed. I also support it costing sP because more sinks is a good thing.

Support, I don't pay much attention to stickers, but I can imagine duplicates being bothersome, and I can also imagine someone wanting to remove stickers that clash with their aesthetic or that they just plain find unpleasant, so I can definitely understand the desire for this feature

I'm constantly removing stickers when I'm working at my cashier job (because customers don't want people to know they spent $30 on a cake), so yes, they do disappear, one way or another. Even if you peel one tiny fragment off at a time. Heck, that's a good argument for the item disappearing if you remove it from the album - it's hard to get them off in one piece.

I'm also for this suggestion. I might not use it, because people who stick things to me are on my friends list and they mean well. Other people aren't going to care that much though.

I'm all for removing stickers. I wouldn't mind this becoming a type of sP sink to where we pay the Hustler to remove those extras. And well, any stickers we don't like. I hate duplicates.

This would be nice for people who may want to remove duplicates or certain stickers from their album. Having it as another service from Hustler sounds good.

The removed sticker should be lost, but this could also be an opportunity to introduce new stickers to Hustler. I could see him giving out damaged stickers.

I don't think this really compares to other collections in the same sense that we should be allowed to remove plushies or something as well. Because with those collections, you choose what to put in there in the first place.

But with stickers, you can be stuck with random ones by other people with no way to decide if you want that sticker (or another of that sticker if you already had one). You could ask people not to stick you, but some people might not pay attention to that or may not see if you have a message like that on your profile before sticking.

Staff may decide not to implement this, and that's their decision. But this is the main argument for why people want this. We have control over all of our collections except this one, and yeah I guess that's what was intended when sticker collections were created. But as mentioned, seeing as topics like this keep popping up and getting support, it's clear that there are a decent number of people who don't like it being this way.

The interaction will still be there though? People who don't mind being stuck will still have the option open, those who enjoy the stick the person above you threads will still participate. People will still swap stickers because that's what they like to do.

I've never really been that interested in stickers, 90% of my collection is from being randomly stuck, either by friends or people I've never spoken to before. While it's a lovely thing to do, it can sometimes make me feel a little awkward when people I don't know stick me randomly. I feel like I have to stick back and message them to say thanks, when some days I just don't feel like interaction.
