good gravy, i'd been Felix for 5+ years! but it's always time to make a change one way or another. and what better way then on my 8 year anniversary with subbie?!
for context, hoa (kinda sounds like the beginning of WA-ter) is vietnamese for "flower." ironically, still in the name family because my bf gave me this nickname when i asked him what my vietnamese name would be since my american name is a bit tricky lol. needless to say i've been obsessed for quite a while and its officially time.
tbh so ready to throw confetti and have a personal party lmao
Congrats on your name change! I definitely wouldn't have guessed Hoa would be pronounced "wa" when I first read it lol, Vietnamese words are tricky! I remember finally learning how pho and Nguyen were really pronounced, after saying them wrong for years xD
And happy 8th anniversary with Subeta! :) -throws confetti-
;; thank you so much!
;; you're telling me! Every time he gets me a new lesson about their language and structure/pronunciation it literally blows my mind! lol Like if you see a regular "D/d" it's pronounced almost like a "Z" but if the "D/d" has a line through the straight part then it's the standard "D" sound.
