Hello, i'm not sure if this is the right place for these kinds of topics.
I have a severe case of keratosis, well, not so sure how severe it is compared to others, but it has covered both of my arms, and it looks like freckles. but, i live in a tropical country, and it has come to a point that some of my friends and my family members is joking when they suddenly bump to me or just slightly felt my arm, they'd say ew it's scaly, but i know they're just kidding, still, it's alarming and well, it doesn't feel good xD
so i'm not the kind of person who usually uses a lot of things and or drink meds, but i have came across Amlactin, for keratosis, i'd like to know for those who have experience or knows a person who does, how is it? how do you use it?
there are no available amlactin in our country, but luckily i found a seller here, who goes to us and buys a few us products, and one of those are amlactin. ( very expensive, but i hope it will help ) i was able to buy it, and it came today! the Amlactin Alpha-Hydroxy Therapy ( the packaged at 2 one )
so, i'd love to know what you think. and thank you in advance?
I used to have keratosis Pilaris on parts of my shoulders and back, have since i was a kid and yeah, it’s pretty much harmless. It’s more of an inconvenience than anything since my skin can sometimes be itchy but it’s not harmful to your skin though.
Oops,read that wrong.
Here’s a listing of the side effects of AmLactin but I can’t comment on it in general as I’ve never used it to treat mine. I had a relatively mild case that hadn’t posed a major problem except for itching sometimes mostly.
hello normandy, thanks for the reply, i don't mind before, but it's almost all over my arms now that it's not ok for me anymore T_T
thank you for those links :)
i tried it already last night though, it stings a little at first, but it's indicated on the bottle that it may sting. so i guess that's a natural reaction.
