Personality type: INFP Bio: Keet was born in America to a British witch and an American No-Maj, although her family relocated to the UK in recent years so that her mother could care for her sick grandfather. Since Keet was young, she always had an affinity with birds, both magical and non-magical. Slow to make friends because she was shy, her parents thought it would be good for her to have a pet. When she was 11, they got her a beautiful red screech owl, Ophelia. Keet was ecstatic over the beautiful bird, and she was also happy that she would be able to use Ophelia to send letters to her family from school. As she got older and started to do her own research on magical birds, she begged her parents for a Fwooper. Her mother told her that she would have to get top marks in Charms first because Fwoopers require a strong silencing charm. Keet obliged happily, and she was allowed to pick a Fwooper after demonstrating her silencing charm (discretely) on the neighbor's noisy dog. Delighted, she chose a bright green Fwooper and named him Disco. The little bird's antics captivated her, and she hopes to earn a license to breed them as pets in the future. She thinks that they will bring joy to a lot of people. Keet also loves to draw, and she has become quite adept at making moving paintings and sketches. Her favorite subjects are her pets, other birds, and any magical creatures she might come across with her sketchbook. Euphrasie "Effy" Bertrand (Calm)

Name: Euphrasie "Effy" Aveline Bertrand. Nickname: Goes by Effy almost exclusively. Username: Blood Status: Half-blood. Special Ability: None as of now. Nationality: British/French. Spoken Languages: English, French, some Latin and German. Birthday: 7 September. Age: 15, turning 16 shortly into the start of next term. Extracurriculars: Outside of classes, she enjoys reading/studying in the library, going on walks around the lake, gardening in the greenhouses, sketching and painting, or just hanging about Ravenclaw Tower, chatting with her housemates. As for Scholastic extracurriculars, she hopes she'll be able to take Advanced Arithmancy Studies when the new term starts. Favorite Class(es): Ancient Runes, Herbology, Arithmancy, Charms. Effy's father is a British muggle-born who attended Hogwarts, sorted into Hufflepuff house. Growing up, her parents made sure she was exposed to both wizarding and muggle culture, especially the arts, leading to ballet lessons, art classes, and music lessons (piano and harp). When not attending school, Effy lives with her parents and her 9-year-old sister Elodie in her father's hometown in Berkshire; the family also spends a significant amount of time every summer and during holidays visiting her mother's parents in France. Bio: Fade's mother attended Hogwarts and graduated at the top of her class. A decade after graduation she met a non-magical man and decided to settle down. Even though Fade exhibited signs of being a Metamorphmagus like his grandmother, his parents didn't tell him that he was a wizard until the day his acceptance letter arrived. Using a combination of hair dye and shampoo, they kept their family secret quiet for as long as they were able. Attending Hogwarts for Fade is like living a dream. Sometimes he has a hard time believing it is real, and then finds himself getting into trouble as a reality check.

She is an only child, with a mother whose work with the Ministry often kept her away from home for extended periods and a father with whom she was very close whenever he was home from his own work at St. Mungo's Hospital. She was raised largely by a nanny whom she loved dearly. She spends much of her time alone, preferring the company of the knights and damsels in her favorite books than the company of other people, though she is friendly and makes friends easily. Her best friend from childhood was a muggle girl by the name of Emmy, who at the age of 11 got her own Hogwarts letter and became the first witch in her family. They now attend Hogwarts together.
