Browser cache - what is it?

so, again this year, my tree doesn't show up in my profile. It has been said to clear my browser cache. What on earth is a cache even, and how do I clear it?? Thx for your help :)
Your browser's cache is how it stores data for things, like image files from websites.
If you're using Chrome, there should be 3 vertical dots in the top right corner of your browser window. Click that, then go down the list and hover over where it says "More tools" then in the new menu that comes up click on "Clear browsing data" and select the box for "Cached images and files" then click the big button that says "Clear browsing data"
Don't select the other boxes if you don't want to clear everything, like your history and saved passwords and stuff.
okay I have done that. Thx for the help. NOW - how do I get my saved tree to show up on y profile??
To have it show up on your profile, you need to go to edit your profile and add the "Options" section that all of the seasonal profile things are attached to.
