its says coupon necessary. i dont think ive experienced this before?

Yesterday I used it without a problem (can't check now because I'm broke ;_;), are you sending the request and getting an error notice? Because the coupon code is only necessary if you have one and want to use it, if not you can just finish your purchase normally and leave that blank.
I just bought something and it worked fine for me. Did you maybe accidentally type something into the coupon code field? I can't think of anything else that would have caused that.
If you don't have enough CSC in your on-hand tally to purchase the items in your cart, it will show the message "Coupon Necessary!" below the "Make Purchase" button, because using a coupon for a reduced price would be the only possible way to make that purchase. (I've never clicked on the button when it showed me that message so I don't know what it shows on the next page.) Check your computed total cost to the left of the "Make Purchase" button and make sure you have enough in your on-hand (i.e. redeemed) CSCs to make the purchase. If you do, you can try clearing your cart and starting over to see if that helps. If that doesn't resolve the problem, the only other thing I'd know to do is file a ticket. -shrugs-
