so i wanted to feed an infinity berry to my pet that i'm trying to feed all the food to. But i'm dont want it to never be able to eat food again (as the item desc. suggests) or mutate (though i can just change it back to what it is now i assume). so yeah, what's the risk involved here? since i still have a lot of food to feed my pet!

The infinity berry just gives your pet 10/10 hunger, no matter what its hunger was at previously. And the berry doesn't get used up, so you can use it every hour on every pet to keep them at 10/10.

But they will "lose" their hunger points at the normal rate.

There is no risk other than filling the pet up for the day.

yeah a lot of the older items have vague descriptions, or even misleading, because part of the original philosophy of the site was to "surprise" us, or make us work to figure things out.

Sometimes that can be fun :), but other times it can make it annoying or worse.

i do love the interesting descriptions, but they do often instill panic :P

I have one and use it all the time. I battle with all my pets and having one is proof against hunger glitches when I want to battle.

It's safe and will not do wither bad thing.

Pets get hungry at about one point of food per hour, so feeding one pet once will last you around ten hours. You can feed multiple pets multiple times, if you like. What it will not do is what the Inn or Resort does and keep them fed at all times. You have to manually do the feeding.
