OR : Why is Pete's background transparent?

Every other NPC (and pet) image I can find has a white background EXCEPT for Pete. Why is Pete's background transparent? This is driving me up the wall. I actually cannot stop thinking about this.

[edit] Also Maleria's quest image URL is still spelled 'maleira'.

I've had CSS to change the site background color for like. months. like maybe even a year+ but my memory is crap so all I know is it's been a long ass time and I can't believe I never really noticed Pete before.

Ha! I'm using 's dark layout and it has forced me to become exceptionally aware of it. To the point where I'm not only aware that it's the only transparent one but also that there's a handful of stray pixels on him too. As if there had been a white background that someone cut away from him?

I thought about it but it's not really a bug, is it? The image inconsistency might count (some are gifs opposed to pngs, the misspelling in Maleria's name, etc.,) but I've always assumed the white backgrounds were on purpose and that the transparent background must have been too. I just can't figure out WHY.

I wouldn't necessarily call it a bug, but it is an error somewhere along the line and it probably won't get fixed unless posted in P&B or if a staff member happens along this thread.
