Curious here since I've never seen a holiday on this site before, what do we actually do for fireside? Is there a special set of dailies or something like that? ?

Hey :) On fireside there is the red reign, were you can throw red reign items into the bonfire :) The items are floating around, just collect them :) You get something in return - an item, or a kiss (which is a blessing from the red reign). It´s possible to get burned, that happens, if you throw an item in the bonfire, which you got from the red reign before :) There are a lot of achievements to collect:) And you can donate food items, you can get something in return there, too :) It´s a really nice event :D Soon there will be Luminare, which is great, too :)

Items that just say red in the name won't work. You specifically toss in "Red Rreign" items, such as or into the bonfire to get back items.

As a heads up, throwing in "Wreathed Red Rreign" items will anger the bonfire Rreign, and they will attack either you or your pets.

Since you two seem super knowledgeable, could you maybe tell me how to give Fantine pumpkins for the achievement? I did it previous years but somehow I can't find it this year...

Fantine hasn't opened up her page where you can give her pumpkins yet this year. The news post when the event started mentioned that it would be happening a bit later.

I got the red reign blessing, does that mean anything?

Not really. It's supposed to put a little flame mark on your HA's cheek (I haven't noticed one yet though, so I'm not sure what's up with that) but it doesn't really do anything else
