Is the only way to get it . when you see that quest person on the subeta m ain map? If the answer is yes, how long till she comes back.

Merana is supposed to appear every few days, and stick around for 12 hours at a time so that users can make their pets hydrus. But for the past three months or so, Merana has been glitched and not appearing when she's supposed to. Last time I heard of her appearing was a couple weeks ago according to a friend of mine, and she was only around for 30 minutes in the morning.

I have no idea when Merana is going to be fixed, unfortunately.

Basically, the only way to turn your pet Hydrus is to get a quest from Merana, like said above.

If i'm not mistaken, the Miracle Potion has been changed to give out the Hydruscolor, but I'm not sure, however. According to this thread from Jan 2017, it wasn't possible to get a Hydrus-colored pet from the potion.

[edit] As of February 2017, this has been changed - the Miracle Potion now is able to turn your pet Hydrus like any other color, according to this news post! If you can afford it, try to grab one from the Cash Shop during this black friday sale.

Merana is NOT supposed to be every few days. This feature is not glitched.

She's not necessarily supposed to show up every few days, it's random when she shows up. BUT when she does show up, she's supposed to stay for 12 hours, and the past few times she has showed up she's disappeared again before the 12 hours was up. That part is a glitch, and I think staff members are aware of it, but I don't know when it will be fixed.

it has been so long since she showed up, I don't know that you can claim that. The twelve hour thing could very well be fixed.

Does this not mean every few days in some extent? Because Merana definitely doesn't appear daily when working properly. Staff are aware that Merana is glitched and not showing up for as long as she's supposed to.

She showed up earlier this month and was gone again less than an hour after the group was pinged. That was a couple of weeks ago, so yeah IDK for sure if it's been fixed or not. But considering it happened a few times before that as well and was not fixed, and staff haven't mentioned anything about it being fixed, it's worth mentioning as a possible issue still.
