I use SL to check the DP/MC items there every month to see which ones I need to get, but it's down as I'm posting this. :(

Is there somewhere else I can find out what's in the monthly collections? And does anyone know what's up with SL? I'm assuming this is a temporary issue, but I haven't seen any information on it being down. As long as it is, I need some other way of checking monthly items.

Edit: I need a way to see the use of each item before buying it too. That's one of the important features I'm missing with SL being down.

The News Archive is a pretty good alternative method of checking MCs. All the items in each collection are listed right there in the news post, and they're right in the top few posts for the month so you don't have to go scrolling for them.

That's a start, but it won't have full information for each item.

Should have mentioned this before, but I need something that shows item use too, since not every item's is obvious just from looking at it.

Beanbags and plushies have it right in their name. Food and books are typically obvious, but a few items can be more ambiguous. I don't want to get anything without being 100% sure it's something I want.

You can double check items against the Item Directory; uses are listed there.

Apache's been up intermittently through the day, but doesn't stay up consistently. I don't have the ability to restart Apache myself or view the logs to identify the problem.

When Apache is up, the SubetaLodge forums are working, but the main SubetaLodge site returns an error. The forums use the PHP MySQLi extension while the main site still uses MySQL, so I think the problems may stem from a change in the PHP configuration. If necessary, I can upgrade the site to use MySQLi throughout the site once we get Apache running, but until we get that running, there's not much I can do.

Ahhh you were wrong about all the items being listed in the news post. I went back to check DPs for November 2006, and it only shows three items in the news! D:

Ah, boo. That's no good. I won't pretend that I'd done a comprehensive survey of the visibility of collection items in news posts; I'd just assumed they were all in the same format.

The best solution I can come up with is to look up items on the Item Directory with the id number url such as here, and change the numbers in the url yourself, looking for items close to the ones you know of. Which is frankly an amazingly convoluted method; you'd be better off waiting for SL to get back up, really.

I made a list of all items from previous November DPs and Collections here!! I am so glad it actually has a chance to be useful haha. Just scroll thru comments until you see my post with two spoiler bars.

Edit: Sorry there's no item use info, I guess you'll still have to look them up in the item directory as you go, but maybe this is more doable until SL is back up!

That ID number suggestion has given me some ideas on how to deal with another item problem though. So thanks for that! :D

Ahhh thanks! I'm mainly wanting to get a list ready for Decembers, but this really helps too. I need to double check the November ones I've been hoarding in my cart until I can get more CSC. :D

@ Kisrah Can you look at cached SL pages? Do a google search for either just the item name, or if it's a common word/phrase add 'subeta lodge' click the green down arrow at the end of the url address and it says cached

EDIT This is the cached 2016 notes page and This is 2015 to get those I googled http://www.subetalodge.org/list_all/search/December+2015+Collection/mode/notes and you can just alter the year
