Now that wins past 10 are important, I wanted to make a series of threads to help people talk about strategies to farm the opponents to max them out as high as possible.

For the Gate Keeper this is the set I'm using in Tier 12:

Some explanations/alternative thoughts: Scientist Specs vs Intricate Energized Helmet In general, I would argue that the helmet is the more versatile freezer and for default set use, I've been keeping the IEH on hand, and have never once use the SS. For maxing challengers and optimizing sets, I think that SS will play a much more important role in opponents that do no outright require a turn 1 freeze prevention.

Potion of the Robot I currently very rarely ever use even 1 of the 2 healers, and its usually more of a ballot for if I miss clicked. Adding in Potion of the Robot into the set up turns could provide a small extra bit of strength that might shave a couple turns down the line when we start getting to 200-300+ wins.

Manifesting Weapon vs Sword of the Seven Seas Manifesting Weapon is probably better here for the sake of damage. However, you do need to have at least 1 weapon modded out with 4x Parched because the gate keeper can freeze frequently. Personally I have my Maniacal Essesnse modded out for max damage and

Maniacal Essence vs Shinwas Sacred Bow These are probably equivocal I might give a small edge to SSB though because TGK's Pbow takes a big chunk out of the ME.

Overall Constant choices: Maniacal essence vs SSB > MW > SoSS > Swashbuckle > Ostaff > Trident of the Banished One > Ornamented Hook Swords

I don't think too much needs to change for Tier 11. Well, I could seriously recommend the Intricate Energized Helmet. You don't need that 50 extra speed and defense! They are useless. 19 icons of damage + 20 water defense icons doesn't match a 2 turns freeze protection and +50 light, +5 earth, +5 wind (1 more from blessing next turn) icons protection. Modded your main weapons with Parched Baguette Crystal. I have both, defeat gate keeper (base form) with a tier 6 pet and face defeat with my max out pet. Freeze is extremely important! A freeze chain can destroy you even at base form. Specially if you are going for a high count, that boost can get crazy.
