Forgive me if this is in the wrong spot, but I couldn't figure where else to put it!

As you can see by the picture below, I have managed to get the top half of the Tent image completed, but have gotten myself stuck on the bottom. I have gone round and round but can't figure how to get the squares in the right spots. Can any of you help, perchance?

We're allowed to give general advice, but its against the rules to help with specific answers.

In general, I would start by filling in the two tiles you need on the far left. I think there are pictures of all the finished puzzles in the games forum, so you have some idea which tiles you need to place there.

here's the strategy i use for slide puzzles. it can take a while, and i'm not very good at bigger ones, but it goes like this:

1. get the top row correct. don't worry about the position of anything else. once you've done that, now, DO NOT touch the top row. pretend it doesn't exist anymore. leave it as is.

2. if you started with a 5x5 grid, you now have a 5x4 grid (because remember, that top row doesn't exist anymore). get the left column correct. again, don't worry about anything else; just get the 4 correct tiles in their correct positions in the left column.

3. now the top row and the left column don't exist anymore. you've got a 4x4 grid now. get the top row of this 4x4 grid correct, just like you did at the start. again, once it's in place, don't touch it.

4. get the left column of your new 4x3 grid correct.

5. repeat these steps until you're left with a 2x2 grid at the bottom right corner, at which point getting the tiles into the correct spot is a given.

6. congrats, you did it! maybe it's not the most efficient method but it's the only reliable way i know how to do these puzzles.
