Businessman MALE Nightmare Darkonite Born: February 17th, 2007 (ID: 337,071)

Spiegel (German for 'mirror') MALE Common Experiment Born: June 6th, 2011 (ID: 967,765)

You know the drill. Not 100% set on rehoming (esp Spiegel bc... I like that word), but they are at the very bottom of my priority list so might as well put them out there. Dazzle me by...having any solid plans at all 8D I will look at apps, if there are any at all next week or so.

The ID number on Businessman there is kind of tempting! I had a sort of "ancient primordial creator god" idea for a pet that was super old / had a really low ID; I'd be renaming, re-gendering and morphing them into something else, so I'd be adopting them just for the ID, if that's okay? I could elaborate more on my ideas if you wanted. :o

I'd like to be considered for Businessman! I actually have an idea in mind for his name, based on a character of mine. His story is highly related to another pet of mine called Bigot (the story isn't public yet for... various reasons, but I'll publicise it soon.) Some information is vague because of some circumstances, but I will reveal it all, in time.

No peeking! Businessman will be a pet for a man named Brandon Dorian. Brandon is the face of the Subetan Anti-Alien Alliance (SAAA.) He is seen as its "boss", always appearing best-dressed among a bunch of bigoted goons. He operates under a strong sense of justice, or so he believes. Brandon does not realise that his vigilante work is misguided at best, and deplorable at worst.

His blonde hair is either swept back or to the side. Brandon has inconspicuous areas of hyperpigmentation in his left periorbital area (around his left eye,) which extends up to his scalp. He has some sleazy tendencies, using (what he thinks are) his good looks to attempt to score some women. For some time, Brandon was romantically involved with Anjy Miles.

He works as a banker, investment broker, and entrepreneur by day, residing in an abandoned mansion that the SAAA took as its base of operations by night. On the weekends, he also guards the property he is occupying (without authorisation) from any intruders. Rumour has it that Brandon formed the Anti-Alien Alliance as early as his high school days, to decry his peers who believed that sightings of unidentified flying objects carried friendly aliens.

The official story that the SAAA sticks to is as such: When rumours of alien refugees were popular back when he was in college, he was skeptical, but wanted to investigate them anyway. After confirming one such rumour, he complained that he was hurt by an alien in a minor altercation. He claims that he witnessed aliens abduct people in Centropolis, and also saw someone die in the hands of an innocuous-looking alien. All these, he says, are formative in instilling in him a deep hatred for aliens. This was when he started to protest the presence of alien refugees, instead of making fun of those who insisted that they existed.

His confidante is someone he shares his disdain for aliens with. When his confidante discovered that two of my other characters are aliens, he tipped the two off to Brandon, who was already aware of it. Brandon thinks he can "feel" the presence of an alien, even when they look convincingly not alien. This pertains in particular to [redacted].

When Brandon's solicitation for help from tourists to Skedhu (Shadowglen) failed, he asked his confidante if he had any leads to the location of the aliens. Wayne was in the possession of an alien diary, which revealed her feelings for her companion, as well as her love for snow. He accompanied Brandon to Ytiva (The Arctic Frost,) where they found the aliens in a snowy forest, while they were in the middle of a romantic moment.

Brandon saw this as a chance to get even with the male alien, who got into a fistfight with him over his misogyny. His plan to kill the male alien backfires when female alien snatches his gun from him, and shoots his shoulder. Questioning her motives for giving him a partially disabling shot instead of killing him outright (as well as performing first aid on the wound she caused,) the duo layed low until the Atebus Revolution Masquerade.

Initially displaying intense contempt for a character of mine who is a neurologist, even going to the extent of threatening to ruin her reputation, it is later revealed that he was trying to warn her about the attempts of someone known as 'Master' to destroy her life, and that he was only harming her under the orders of that person. The aliens also discover that Brandon shared a romantic past with the doctor, but that they broke up after learning that they are step-siblings.

Despite this, Brandon seemed to deeply care for his step-sibling, doing his best to sincerely atone for his previous transgressions. In an instance when she is abducted and tortured (presumably by 'Master',) Brandon finds her and "takes her place," offering to be further tortured (and even killed) in her stead, urging her to escape from the warehouse where she was illegally detained. The aliens, along with two members of a paramilitary force, find Brandon stuffed inside a large box, in respiratory distress. He was bleeding and had many large bruises all over his body.

As the biological step-brother of a man known as "S.T.", Brandon's hatred for "aliens" comes across as irony, as he is an alien refugee, himself. Albert Dorian, his father, was a murderer who wreaked havoc across a large city in their home planet. Brandon was often used by his father as an accomplice. Albert wanted Brandon to gain the necessary skills to kill people, so that the latter could take over in the event that the former died.

When Brandon was 16 years old, he decided that he had enough of his father, refusing to see other people die because of him. Ironically, he killed his father, making him a murderer, as well. He made it appear as though Albert killed himself in a parking lot, swearing to himself that it would be the first and last murder he would commit. Brandon ran away from home, wanting to spare his mother and brother if ever he would be found out.

Thank you very much for the consideration!
