I bought one of these on a quest....but none are in user shops. Is it a new item?

Not at all. Those have been around for years. I'm not sure where there would be none in user shops; the Recycle Beast isn't asking for them today, nor is it in today's Item Drive. Presumably someone just wanted to buy them all up.

Yeah I guess someone probably bought them up. It's a common item though, so it will probably correct itself soon enough. Not sure why anyone would want to buy them all though, unless it was for a collection or something. It won't be profitable in the long run.
