Is it really worth 91 mil? It's from Morostide 2005 and its a rarity 175.

This is what happens when someone just throws something for 100m in usershops. People will slowly start undercutting each other until it gets into a more reasonable price. There are currently 11 for sale and 17 in galleries. There are currently 4 colors of them: 91mil 50k sp 58k sp 81.5k sp Looks like someone just buy them off. However, looks like its the rare color based on the number in galleries. Yes, that's currently the value of the item. It looks like it was inflate, it still doesn't change for how much is selling. It's a morostide item which tend to appear every year during morostide. It's a food so some get eaten by pets. I dont think there will be any buyers until it hits like 5m or less.

I think it will stay on search in the 80-90mil range probably for the rest of the year. Once items get stuck like that there isn't usually a huge amount of auto price correcting going on.

I doubt few if any will sell that high, but I think if you want get get one, you just need to main the people with it in their shop and go around offering 20-50mil for the thing.

If your selling, I don't think you need to go crazy undercutting everyone else, its probably not going to sell any faster by undercutting by 10+ mil, because everyone else will just match you, the goal should just be to always be 1 sp less than anyone else on search to get the number one ad spot basically and hope someone mails you to haggle.

Also, undercutting another person by quite a bit have it's advantages, If you undercut someone by a good chunk, the other person might not match you. Sometimes, when that happens I either; buy the other person or raise my price to be 1sp less then other 3rd person so i could be second. It's just a little game. However, if multiple people start undercutting. Then the item might be value less than current price so it help balance the item.

Note: You should be careful when autopricing. That's the reason all items I obtain 5m+ go to another shop to be manually price.

this is an interesting buyout target though. 20mil investment atm, and then carrying out the strategy I outlined above, could be a quick 20-80mil profit within 6 months.

A deep undercut price strategy works on items in a competitive market. I think specific to this item where there is a small supply and consumable, and the type of person that would be buying something like this gives it a very inelastic demand. The person that is a buyer at 10mil, is probably also a buyer at 30-50mil. I don't think it would sell at 91mil, I'm saying there isn't a whole lot of value to a deep undercut strategy because its most likely being sold as someone sending an email asking for a discount. So you are incentivized to keep the shop search as high as possible, while still being the first person that they mail by being the lowest priced.
