I guess I'm remembering wrong. But I thought there was a way to create a poll on your thread.

I don't remember being able to do that before, but maybe it was a long time ago.
Anyway, there isn't an option to do that anymore and I don't think there has been for quite a while now.

I don't know about that, I can have a poor memory sometimes when it comes to old features (especially ones that I never really used). But even if it was a thing before, it hasn't been for a while. Maybe when the forums were updated (whenever that was, I can't remember that exactly either) that was a feature that got removed.

I remember being able to make polls as well, but my memory is also terrible, so take that as you will. :'D It must've been removed with the forum updates though because I haven't seen the feature in ages. I remember it being a little option down here by the text entry area that said something like "Create Poll?" but I never used it either. .-.

If memory serves, it was an option in the old forums, 8+ years ago. With the forum update, the polls option was there, but it never worked so it was removed.
To my knowledge, there's currently no way to make polls. 😞
I totally remember this too. I never used it, so I don't know if it actually ever functioned while I've been here (a lot of things were still present but broken since I joined), and I never actually saw anyone use it... but I remember it being a thing.
But yeah, if it was around at one time, it isn't any longer.
ahhhh I bet that's where/when I remember it from. I was here then, but I lost my internet connection and lost my "person" here at Subeta.
I admit, I never used it then, and since i've been back (5 yrs now) I've never had need to use it.

Yeah, polls were kind of a strange thing that wasn't often used on the forums. I'm still kind of hoping that they'll bring them back, though! It could be useful for forum groups and such.
You are remembering correctly, polls were definitely a thing :P I never used that feature, though, so I can't say for certain when it was removed. But I do remember voting in a few polls when they were around.
well, with and and the other staff that work on the site, it's been working so much better. (hah. at least till there's an "event" :D hehehe)
But , I agree. for a lot of ping groups, this would be really convenient (ie: recolors of items)

Maybe post about it in the suggestions forum? c: I know there are offsite polls like Strawpoll and whatnot, but it seems like a hassle to go offsite when Subeta could potentially implement their own poll system, and tie it in so nicely with the forum groups.
