I'm posting this here rather than suggestions, because I doubt it'd be considered anyway, and I more want to rant than actually suggest anything.

I WISH that if you adopt a pet from the pound you got one free name change. Like, all of my pets are adopted. and most have awesome names! But some have names I can't STAND, but I also am currently unemployed and therefore don't have random money lying around to pay to change the names of fictional pets. Also asking family for money in that case, because I'm 22, would be a bit awkward.

I used to have a friend who played and if they had a name they liked, but it was on a pet they were about to abandon, they'd change it to something ridiculous so they could use the name on their "good" pet. I imagine more than my old friend just did it.

Like I said because Subeta makes real money off name changes, I doubt it'd ever be considered.

Yeah, I kinda feel you there. Sometimes, I see pets with super low IDs in the pound, but the names are bleh. D:

But you have to have nearly 60million SP to do that. It still isn't an easily accessible thing.

Or you could create a pet with a nice name and use a potion/elixir on it for cheaper? sP is very easy to make on Subeta so it shouldn't be so hard. You can also get a loyalty box every year you've been on Subeta. Then, you can paint your pet however you want for free and can even change its name for free. [Edit] Unless you are aiming for a particular birth date/low ID or even a battle pet. The first two cannot be changed but the last one can be done with training.

@ MusicEmo I don't know what to tell you. ~60m in fake pixelmoney, or 5$. Either you put effort in and save up to get what you want, or you pay to get the instant rewards.

Or, if you're only attached to the colour, but not the name - pound the pet, create one with a name you like and elixir/potion it yourself into whatever you want. tbh, I forgot the petname totem even existed until you brought up the loyalty box! :'D Had to go digging on Subetalodge.

I only ever choose the petslot, so your post had my brain going "... wait a minute, wasn't there a thing that did the stuff?"

Don't adopt pets you aren't satisfied with, really.

Often, it's less expensive to go and repotion a pet that has a name you want, over renaming.
