It took me five hours to find him,I was going to spend all day to find him if I had too.I know you don't have that time because you work & are busy =( I wasn't here when it started, But a friend of mine that usually finds the new minion on the first day.Said it took him 10 days to find Echo.That's very usual for him.

Well, November came in with a snowfall. Everything looks beautiful and it isn't too cold but I'm sure not looking forward to winter. Went to exercise class, then lunch that always makes me feel good anyway. We get out flu shots tomorrow. Yesterday we looked at independent living apartments for seniors. None of the two bedroom ones we would want are available. Will probably go on a waiting list and see if one becomes vacant in the future. I have a friend who lives there and have been thinking about moving to it for a while. It has taken a lot of convincing for Bruce to even go look. He doesn't want to leave this house and yard. He was favorable impressed as well but I haven't gotten him to agree to put our name on a wait list yet. He might change his mind when he has to start blowing snow. So far the snow has melted off the driveway.

I'll look at your with list and see if I have anything you need. edit: I need the same things you do but they'll go down a lot in price if we wait a while. They usually do. 😄

It's hard giving up your home,but it does make it a lot easier.Someone else gets to do shoveling & keep up the Maintenance on things we used to do.I'm so glad we moved. There's people that do that for you.It's a very big relief.You could always put your name on the list when they call if you & Bruce want to go you can, if not just have them re-put your names on the list =) We might have to move some where one more time,somewhere that has no steps.I'd like a small home like a ranch style,but we'll see when that day comes or An apartment with no steps Hugsssss :D

, that's exactly right. We looked for a ranch type here a few years ago but housing is impossible to find and afford here. We're beyond that point now. We couldn't take care of it. So it was good I didn't find one. We'd have to move from that now. 😄

I totally understand My Friend.You & Bruce can relax if you did move into independent living apartments for seniors.I think if you can convince him,he might like it.That outside work is what gets to you the most the mowing,shoveling,& house up keep is the hardest for sure. Hugsss :D

Hi everyone. Happy November. Unfortunately I am not feeling so great today. Just a cold. I also have to take off work tomorrow to go to my next door neighbor's funeral. She passed away from cancer earlier this week. :(

Afternoon all. Up at 7:30am i could not sleep anymore... Went to the hair stylist this morning and got myself a hair cut and a nice color in it to. On my way home i did some grocery (?) shopping. Fridge full, washing machine is on and now relaxing here :)

lets hope the prices go down asap and we get what we still need/want.

Hellooooo! Giving everyone a hug! I've really missed being here. Happy Hugs month to you Christina!!! :) Nicole I'm SO very sorry to hear about your neighbor Hugs Cancer is so EVIL!! My sister is back in the hospital with pnuemonia again... They can't seem to get her body temperature to normal it spikes high and then it comes down this has been happening since last Saturday. She was telling the doctor she just wanted to die in the hospital not at home and that was very hard for all of us to hear. She just wants to be comfortable and not hurting when she dies....A doctor there told her she promised 200% that she wouldn't let that happen. It's very hard to see her suffering every single day and having to go through such harsh procedures trying to kill this cancer, unfortunately, it is one of those very aggressive cancers they actually asked when they removed the tumor from her brain if they could keep it for studies so they can try to find a cure for it I guess it's a rare kind? She had to sign a bunch of papers (kind of like that movie Henrietta Lacks) I've been at the hospital everyday for sometimes up to 6 hours and it's been very hard. When she broke her arm (due to the cancer in her bones) it made it weak and it just snapped and since then she has gone downhill pretty fast. I can't imagine not being able to do things for yourself , and she is unable to do everyday normal things without assistance. I asked God to PLEASE end her suffering, she has had enough of that in her life. As much as I want to have my sister here with us on earth, I also want the suffering to stop, if she does die I hope it will be in her sleep on a strong dose of morphine... so she can let go and finally be at peace. I just don't want her to be alone when that time comes. She has a do not resuscitate order she said she didn't want to die twice. Thankfully she is only 7 minutes away. , I'm trying to be strong and not cry, but when nighttime comes and I'm going to sleep, it's hard to stop the tears :(
