Today I did some database cleanup and cleanup from our server issues a few days ago, and programmed something that will be launched later today (hint: :jack-o-lantern: zapper :see-no-evil:) and at the same time made some layout changes. Like times in the past, you'll probably notice a few small font changes around the site, which we'll be cleaning up over the next few days. We're also going to be making some tweaks to make the regular Subeta layout more mobile friendly.
This change comes from upgrading our version of bootstrap 3 to bootstrap 4. We'll be using more of the bootstrap elements around the site, as our new layout (👀) uses it heavily.
I'm making a note here so that you know the changes are coming (they'll be a part of the push tonight) and you can post here with places you notice odd font behavior when that happens.

Glad it's temporary (hopefully). I struggle to change my CSS code when it happens.

Yeah, if you look into the hierarchy of widgets / the events stuff it's way over the top (always shaking a fist at ) - so any small change does really weird things to them.

Some specific things I've noticed:
The buttons on the Training Center page seem to be bigger now than they were before.
Also the buy buttons on shop search pages are bigger now as well. Example: https://subeta.net/user_shops.php/search/shops/Carving+Pumpkin
I probably won't notice any changes as I use an extension called Stylebot to heavily change the CSS around the site. I did notice the buy buttons on shop search were bigger, so I used Stylebot to decrease the size :P
Just letting you guys know, all the weird font/button/etc stuff will be addressed. I'm waiting for the push tonight before starting, but basically, I'll be here looking at anything that's wonky and fixing it so you won't be stuck with tiny text and stuff like that <3

I'm guessing this is related and probably still being worked on, but the indicators on forum threads for whether you've read them and to take you to the recent post or whatever have disappeared for all threads now.
[edit]Vaults are also a bit messed up now. The page seems mostly okay, but the "Sort By" and "Categories" lists of links are all squished together now instead of how they used to be.
Same thing also happening on the Dashboard page.
I'm fucking laughing because I know this will be fixed but OH DEAR, LOOK AT THIS... Not what was intended, I assume.
Also not sure if this is related to the layout changes or just weird coding, but the navigation dropdown menus are going behind the text on the new Human Zapper section of the page. Makes it hard to use them properly there.
No idea if this goes here but it happened along side these changes I think... Just want to say I like the changes to the random TOT page. I like that it shows the avatar of the person you're TOTing and when the link expires it gives you the option to go to a new link, instead of having to go back to the news page each time. Much more convenient. :)

Hey guys, just letting you know that I'm currently working on fixes to a LOT of things that were broken/made wonky by this layout change. As always, thank you so much for your patience as we smooth things out.
We're really sorry for the inconvenience - There's been a lot of transitions lately, I know, what with the server move right before Morostide and now this. But it's all for a good cause :)
We're going to be dropping dependencies on old and obsolete libraries that have been holding us back, and we'll be adding some code that will allow us to start making the site mobile friendly, and ease the transition to the v2 layout whenever that happens.
With that said, please keep reporting wonky stuff here, and keep in mind that all the weird layout things you're seeing now are going to be temporary, and I'm busy working on fixes as we speak!

Also noticed the...unique layout of the shoppe pricing page. The toggle arrows for item id/name/stocked/cat./price are gone, so I was trying to figure out how to price newly stocked items until I had a "duh!" moment and realized setting the price to "0" in the search filters will pull up the new additions and then you can price away to your heart's content. XD
Aside from that, haven't really noticed anything too problematic to deal with, with maybe the exception of the randomly expired ToT links. They seem to be entirely hit or miss, sometimes they work, sometimes they don't, sometimes they work on the second try, etc.
Thanks for all you guys do to keep the site up and running and functional. I imagine it's a lot of work for a site of this size and complexity and just...thank you! ❤
can we get/do we have a list of changes somewhere so we know what to look out for? i'm seeing some things (tiny font on quickstock + alerts, the shop item id column expansion) but not others (zapper page styling, mostly) and i'm not 100% sure what's a safari problem vs what's a custom css problem, etc
Not yet, but honestly I'd remove your custom CSS temporarily if you want to help report anything.

Now the navigation dropdowns aren't working at all. I can click the main buttons to get to the forums or my inventory, but the dropdown part isn't showing up anymore.
[edit]Also seems like links to specific posts aren't working anymore either, it loads the page of the forum thread the post is on but doesn't try to jump to the post.
