Hi all can anyone tell me how you Drench the sponge cant find out what you have to do.

You have to have a "Sponge Capsule" item, such as the Green Sponge Capsule: As far as I know the only way to get them now is to buy from other users, I haven't heard anything about them being brought back officially. When you have one you click on it in your inventory and there is an option to "soak in water". Click it and you will get a random sponge of the same color as the capsule and +1 for the achievement.

The sponge capsules were a response to massive user desire to copy exactly the real-money random capsules on another virtual petsite. Subeta didn't do the exact copy thing, although years later Chance Machines showed up in the Cash Shop and the earliest versions of the Donation Present were random. At the same time that other much inferior virtual petsite was doing this, those sponge toys that you add water were a RL fad

Anyhoo the Sponge Capsules became a floating item here and there were tons and tons and tons of them on the site. The Achievements were meant to be a way to get rid of them, since the Fragmentizer didn't exist yet and the Recycle Beast only asked for three items instead of twenty one items. Over the years most of them have been gotten rid of so you have to pay users who hoarded thousands of them. Only I did have thousands of them and have since sold them all.

There's been talk about re-releasing them in Suggestions & Ideas. Two years ago staff was like wutevs, but this year this got a positive response. So you may see these get released again on site somehow.
