So I just read somewhere that the only way to catch a comatose lizard is to have only the lizard trap and not the spray? The person said they were not 100% certain so I figured I would ask. I have had both traps in my inventory since I started pretty much and have never caught a comatose lizard so is that why?

I may be wrong but I think it's a drop from the Lizard Minion in the Battle Coliseum

it's just the trap for comatose minions, yeah. i think there's two different random events for them? one is "your trap springs and you spray like mad" (trap + spray) and the other is "your trap springs and hits the lizard minion on the head. you stuff the minion in your pocket" (trap only); you want the second one

that's a separate minion comes from the random event comes from beating the lizard minion bopper

I'm pretty sure it comes from the battle opponent, but idk if it's exclusive

It does not help you even if you do get the Comatose Lizard Minion from Battle Loot. It does not help you if you buy Comatose Lizard Minion and put it in your Minion Zoo.

It has to be a newly generated Comatose Lizard Minion, and it has to come from the Random Event at a time you only have the Trap in your Inventory. You are deliberately trading off fifty percent of your chance for getting an r99 item in return for an Achievement. Or you couldn't or didn't afford the spray yet and get it accidentally.

Most r99 items get readily given out by games or other events here, so they're worth a bit less than r98 or even r83 items. Not a big loss.

Thanks everyone! I put my spray in my vault and will patiently wait for the lizards to visit me 10 times for the acheivements. This is gonna take a while,lol.
