species for Bad Taxidermy?

what species should i make Bad Taxidermy? i know i want to make him graveyard, and get him a custom overlay eventually, but what species would lend itself best to the theme of Bad Taxidermy? my favourite piece of bad taxidermy is the leopard that looks like a log, i think it was supposed to be a bench maybe i really can't tell it's just. So Bad i think the graveyard jollin would lend itself best to logpard, but i think ruffie and pherret are pretty good as bases for other pieces of bad taxidermy too. what do you guys think?
I think the Feli looks like an amazingly bad bit of taxidermy, personally. Or the Hikei. Of your choices I'd go with the Pherret, though.
I think the graveyard Clawsion could work as well. The scraggly wings, the one foot of a different color.
the clawsion is really cute, but its proportions are a little stout compared to the feli's, which i prefer. but it is a very cute species i'd never considered before for other pets... hmmmm... :3c

that's a good idea but not quite the style i'm going for! like 99% of nostalgic pets look cursed to me, like something i'd find in a thrift store and not want to touch.... well loved. i'm thinking more life-like?? in the worst way possible hahaha~ if only there were a middle ground, between graveyard and nostalgic. paint your pet Taxidermy ;)
The Graveyard Pherret's got that incredibly silly position going on, as well as its messiness.. the Graveyard Tigrean or Feli lend better to being logpard (I always called it "tube leopard"!) in terms of basic concept, though. :p

tube leopard, pfffffft, that's a pretty good descriptor! the thing makes me laugh every time i see it, the poor dear omfg..... i do think i like the feli the best for this project though! it's a cat, and it's got a good base pose that can inspire logpard very nicely, i think... :3
i already have a dillema and i don't like to do doubles, but i do absolutely love the graveyard dillema.... they're all so good... ;w; the pherret is also really good, but i think i've settled on a feli for bad taxidermy! if i wanted to do another piece though, the pherret would be perfect. honestly, it looks pretty much perfect the way it is. :P
so yes, i think i've settled on the Feli for Bad Taxidermy! i just need to paint him graveyard now and find save up for someone who does custom overlays. :> i could do it myself but i really want something more in the subeta style??!
